Sienna

His tongue slid against mine, and I made a sound that was embarrassingly loud.

He pulled back just enough to murmur against my lips.

“What are you doing?”

“Proving a point,” I managed breathlessly.

“To who?”

I glanced toward the glass door and Connor noticed Aaron standing just inside the hall, his hand frozen on the door handle and staring at us with hurt and fury.

“To him,” I whispered.

Connor’s eyes darkened.

Then he spun us around in one smooth motion, pressing my back against the stone wall of the terrace.

The sudden movement knocked the breath from my lungs.

He caged me in, one hand on the wall beside my head, the other sliding down to my waist.

“Is he watching?” I asked, my voice shaky.

“Yes, baby,” Connor murmured against my ear. “He’s watching.”

The way he said ‘baby’ sent heat flooding through me and I whimpered as his mouth found my neck, kissing and nipping in a way that made me arch against him.

My nails were probably clawing into his back to pull him closer even though there was barely any space between us already.

His hand on my waist slid higher, his thumb brushing the underside of my breast through the thin fabric of the dress.

I gasped, my head falling back against the wall.

“Connor,” I breathed.

“Want more?”

“Yes”

He growled that same primal sound from earlier and his hand slid from my waist to my thigh right where the slit in the dress revealed bare skin.

His fingers traced patterns on my leg, moving higher, and I felt like I was going to combust.

“Is he still watching?” I managed to ask, though at this point I wasn’t sure I cared.

Connor’s mouth had long left my mouth and peppering the column of my throat with fiery kisses, trailing down.

When he pulled back, his eyes were dark with want.

“Oh yes,” he murmured. “He’s definitely still watching.”

Emboldened by his words and by the heat in his gaze, I let him lift my legs and crossed them behind his back as his hand on my thigh moved higher, slipping under the fabric of my panties, and I moaned out loud yet again.

He had fucked me barely hours ago yet my body was already humming with need, my pussy wet with expectations.

This was insane.

Connor’s hand pushed my panties half the way down when suddenly a voice boomed through the air.

“SIENNA!”

Aaron’s voice cut through the haze like a knife.

Connor pulled back immediately, his hands dropping from my body as he stepped away.

I slumped against the wall, my legs shaky, and my breathing ragged.

Aaron stormed out onto the terrace, his face flushed with anger.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” he demanded, his eyes fixed on me.

I tried to straighten my dress with trembling hands, suddenly very aware of how disheveled I must look.

“We were just..”

“Just what?” Aaron’s voice was climbing, “Just making out against a wall like some desperate teenager? You were already in his bed not even an hour ago, and now you’re…you’re…”

He seemed unable to finish the sentence, his hands clenching into fists.

“The Alpha and Luna want you for the cake cutting ceremony,” he said stiffly. “Both of you. So if you’re done with whatever this is, we should head back inside.”

He turned and walked back into the hall without waiting for a response.

I let out a shaky breath, suddenly exhausted.

“Well done, not so scaredy cat, Connor muttered.

But doubt crept up in my voice again. “He thinks we’re faking this.”

“Good”

I looked up at him sharply. “Good?”

“If he thinks we’re faking it, he’ll keep trying to prove it. And the more he tries to prove it, the more jealous he’ll get.” Connor’s lips curved into a small smile. “The plan is working, Speckles. Don’t you see?”

I thought about Aaron’s face and the raw hurt in his eyes. He’d never looked at me like that before. He had most certainly never cared who I was with or what I was doing because my life used to revolve around him.

And it had barely been days since Connor’s arrival and now Aaron he couldn’t seem to stop caring.

“Yeah,” I said slowly. “I guess it is working.”

“So shall we go back in?” Connor gestured toward the door. “Give them all another show?”

I looked down at our joined hands, and took a deep breath.

“Of course,” I said, forcing a smile. “Let’s go, darling.”

His eyes lit up at the endearment, and he brought our joined hands up to his lips, pressing a kiss to my knuckles.

“After you,

future Luna.”
