The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 530

"Are you delusional?" Camille laughed, a sharp, ugly sound. "You think carrying a child makes you untouchable? If Yulen divorces you tomorrow, there is a line of women out the door ready to give him an heir. You are completely replaceable. I, however, will always be his sister. Worry about your own expiration date, you idiot."

Cornered by Willow and three furious sisters-in-law, Tallulah realized she was entirely outmatched. Her eyes filled with tears of rage.

She doubled over, clutching her stomach, groaning in pain.

Camille crossed her arms, unbothered. "Oh, save it. Using the baby to play the victim? That trick got old months ago."

But this time, beads of cold sweat broke out on Tallulah's forehead, and her breathing turned ragged and shallow.

Willow finally noticed something was actually wrong. "Alright, enough!" she snapped at Camille. "Get her in the car. If my grandson dies, I'll never forgive any of you!"

The driver was summoned, and Tallulah was rushed to the ER.

Back in the living room, Camille sat down, massaging her temples. "Mom, we need an immediate cash injection to stop the bleeding, and we need a genius to fix the chemical instability in the trials.

"I've been asking around. Word is Wynne Powell finally found her biological daughter, Giselle Reed. The girl has a Master's from a top foreign university and is supposedly a prodigy in the lab. She just took over a massive project at the Riverton Institute. If we can get her on board, she can fix the formula—and with her connections, we might be able to secure bridge loans from both the Scully and Powell families."

Willow's eyes lit up. "If she can actually fix this mess, I'll swallow my pride and beg her myself. Years ago, when Wynne was pregnant and in trouble, I was the one who helped her. I essentially saved her and her child's life. She owes me.

"It was infuriating when she cut ties with me just to defend Winona. But Wynne owes me a massive debt, and now that our family is in crisis, she has no choice but to pay it back!"

Saturday evening.

Winona and Stefan were strolling through a high-end department store, picking up household supplies.

Winona placed three identical plush blankets into their cart for Biscuit. The golden retriever was a chronic chewer and destroyed a blanket every month. If they replaced it with a different color, the dog would completely lose his mind.

Winona looked at the blankets and sighed. "What if they discontinue this line? Biscuit will have a breakdown."

Stefan chuckled, swiping his black card at the register. "Simple. I'll buy the design patent and fund a dedicated manufacturing line just to produce this exact blanket."
