The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 450

His hands moved to the clasp of her bra.

Winona caught his wrists, her breath hitching. "Bedroom."

In moments like this, a completely different side of him took over.

He nipped at her ear. "Bathtub?"

Her ears burned scarlet.

They had watched a spicy romance movie recently, and he had taken heavily to the new concepts. Lately, he was obsessed with trying things outside the bedroom.

She honestly didn't mind. He was a very fast learner.

She nodded.

He laughed softly, scooping her into his arms and carrying her toward the master bath.

Hours later, she had lost all track of time when he finally carried her back and laid her on the mattress.

Her cheek pressed into the impossibly soft pillows, her eyelids too heavy to keep open.

Stefan gently slipped a nightgown over her head, pulling her into his arms. He kissed her swollen lips and the faint redness around her eyes, a flash of guilt in his voice. "I'll try to have more self-control next time."

Too exhausted to form words, she drifted straight to sleep.

Her phone buzzed on the nightstand. Seeing Yulen's name flash across the screen, a cruel smirk touched Stefan's lips.

He answered the call, then leaned down to trace kisses along Winona's jawline.

She couldn't help but let out a soft, breathy moan, her voice dripping with lazy exhaustion. "Stefan, I'm so tired."

Stefan hung up.

On the other end of the line, the blood froze in Yulen's veins.

Having been with her before, he knew exactly what that husky, breathless tone meant.

She and Stefan...

Impossible. Winona was so pure and gentle. There was no way she would give herself to another man so quickly.

His face turned thunderous. He grabbed his coat, fully intending to hunt her down.

Behind him, the baby started shrieking.

Tallulah rushed out, holding the wailing infant, looking frantic. "Yulen, he won't stop crying! He must be sick, we need to take him to the ER!"

Yulen stopped in his tracks.

"They said with physical therapy, I should be able to walk again eventually," Ophelia replied with a brave, tragic smile.

Noticing Stefan's absence, Sylvan grew indignant. He turned to Margaret. "Is Stefan still refusing to marry her?"

In his eyes, Ophelia had crippled herself to save Margaret. The least Stefan could do was marry her.

Margaret smiled tightly. "Of course not. I will make sure Stefan agrees to the marriage."

"Is he coming tonight?"

Margaret nodded.

Sylvan resolved to corner Stefan the moment he arrived. If Stefan threw away a perfect woman like Ophelia, he would regret it for the rest of his life.

They chatted idly for a few minutes.

Suddenly, Ophelia looked toward the entrance, her face lighting up. "Stefan's here."

A tall, impeccably dressed figure stepped into the ballroom.

Margaret and Glenda exchanged a loaded glance.

Tonight, they had a trap perfectly laid out. Stefan would have no choice but to submit.
