The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback (Felicia and Max) novel Chapter 951
Right at that moment, Luke came looking for her. Seeing the two large suitcases sitting in the living room, he asked, "Felicia, what is all this?"
Felicia did not offer much of an explanation. "Perfect timing, Luke. Could you help me load these into the car?"
Felicia looked indifferent. Luke wanted to say something but did not know where to start. A sudden, indescribable sorrow gripped his heart. In the end, he asked nothing and simply loaded Felicia's luggage into his car.
Pulling the trunk shut, Luke dusted off his hands. "Get in."
Felicia walked around to the passenger side, opened the door, and got in, buckling her seatbelt.
Luke climbed into the driver's seat, started the engine, and cast a sideways glance at her. "Let's go."
"Let's go," Felicia replied softly.
The car slowly pulled away. The silhouette of the villa gradually receded in the rearview mirror while Felicia stared straight ahead without blinking.
"Did Anne go to New York?" Luke finally broke the silence.
Felicia gave a soft hum. "She should have boarded the plane by now."
Keeping his eyes on the road, Luke remarked, "He probably still doesn't know that he has been divorced."
Felicia remained silent for a long moment before answering. "This is probably the ending we were meant to have all along."
Hearing her words, Luke did not press the matter further. The car fell into a quiet stillness.
After a long while, Felicia suddenly asked, "What happened to Willa?"
"I am not sure where Jeffrey tucked her away," Luke replied. "Even Ivy cannot reach her right now."
"What exactly is her relationship with Jeffrey? And where is her family?" Felicia inquired.
"Willa's parents passed away when she was eight, which is why she was taken in by the Manning family," Luke explained. "Jeffrey watched her grow up and always treated her very well. Everyone thought it was just an older brother's protective love for his sister. That is, until Willa got a boyfriend in college and Jeffrey found out. Anyway, her boyfriend's family has since moved out of the Capital and gone abroad."
With that, Luke drove away from the Ross family home. Felicia had the nanny take her luggage up to her bedroom while she looked after the baby. She then made a call to Jeremy.
"Jeremy, I will be heading to Cloudville in the next couple of days," she informed him.
"Do you have time tonight?" Jeremy asked upon hearing her plans.
"I do."
"Then let's have dinner together and talk in person."
"Alright," Felicia agreed.
At six o'clock that evening, the driver dropped Felicia off at The Willow Bistro. Just as she stepped out of the car, she ran into Jeremy in the parking lot.
"Felicia."

Oh nooo!! Don’t tell me Max will get washed ashore on a remote island then loses all his memory, then falls inlove with the local girl who saves him. Then when he meets Felicia again he won’t recognize her and breaks her heart again. Additional plot twist is that Felicia is pregnant with their 2nd child. Please pleaseee don’t give us this scenario.. LOL!!!...
If Max can be forgiven Darrin can be forgiven. And I do not like this marriage business but if it has to happen I hope after he gets stranded on some remote island alone while Felicia and his family fight over custody she wins and also gets half his estate. Then by time he comes back she's found having and remarried. Lol...
The writer is good. They're making me interested in Max. I won't say like yet....
It seems the only one who hasn't suffered is Max. Even his family fakes anger and disappointment all their own doing so they suffer a little. Everyone else has suffered. Luke and Jeremy unrequited. Felicia has suffered the most from family to unrequited to romance to long suffering Mother. Even baby Anne never had a mother til Felicia suffered then came back only to suffer some more. lol...
Oh no what did Colton do?... I have a bone to pick. When Olisha had to go the hospital why beg for Felicia? When she so loved Max? Seemed like she was in on the setup for Felicia to see a suicide for the 2nd time orchestrated by holden and his brother again. I might drop this series it's becoming endless with no real satisfaction for me. I don't need it to end because it's like a soap opera but if things don't end up making sense, tying up loose storylines it's gonna get old fast for me. Good luck author....
Anne, I think your baby brother is on the way. Thank goodness it doesn't say that Felicia is crying just like the last time but still, there's no willingness on her part. Max! You need to try harder. Make her fall in love with you again....
