"Okay," Felicia replied softly.
"When does Anne's class end?" Heather asked. Yara had come over to play with Anne today.
"Around four thirty. When she's done, I'll let her know and have Dean pick her up and bring her over."
"Alright." Heather didn't have strict demands for Yara, wanting only for her daughter to be happy.
However, Felicia suggested that girls should still cultivate certain practical skills, especially financial awareness and a broad perspective. She believed that building these foundations would help them plan better for their futures. Children inevitably grew up and could not rely on their parents for everything.
Heather realized Felicia's advice made perfect sense. She decided to discuss it with Jeremy later, hoping to help Yara broaden her horizons and avoid getting entangled with terrible men, though she knew it would ultimately depend on Yara's own interests. For dinner, they decided to host a barbecue in the yard, taking the opportunity to finish off the premium steaks, lobster tails, and fresh seafood they had at home.
Around four in the afternoon, Felicia called Max. "When does Anne's class end?"
"Another half hour," Max replied.
"Then I'll have Dean pick her up. Yara is over here looking to play with her."
"Alright," Max agreed.
The line suddenly fell silent. The quiet stretched between them before Felicia finally spoke. "I'll hang up then."
Max didn't say anything.
Felicia ended the call and put her phone down. She sat on the sofa, lowering her eyes in quiet thought. Savannah walked over carrying a plate of freshly baked pastries. Noticing Felicia sitting motionless in a daze, she asked, "You okay, Felicia?"
Felicia seamlessly gathered her thoughts and looked up. "It's nothing." Her gaze fell on the plate in Savannah's hands. "Since when do you know how to bake these?"
"I just bake at home when I have free time. Give it a try," Savannah offered.

Oh nooo!! Don’t tell me Max will get washed ashore on a remote island then loses all his memory, then falls inlove with the local girl who saves him. Then when he meets Felicia again he won’t recognize her and breaks her heart again. Additional plot twist is that Felicia is pregnant with their 2nd child. Please pleaseee don’t give us this scenario.. LOL!!!...
If Max can be forgiven Darrin can be forgiven. And I do not like this marriage business but if it has to happen I hope after he gets stranded on some remote island alone while Felicia and his family fight over custody she wins and also gets half his estate. Then by time he comes back she's found having and remarried. Lol...

It seems the only one who hasn't suffered is Max. Even his family fakes anger and disappointment all their own doing so they suffer a little. Everyone else has suffered. Luke and Jeremy unrequited. Felicia has suffered the most from family to unrequited to romance to long suffering Mother. Even baby Anne never had a mother til Felicia suffered then came back only to suffer some more. lol...
Oh no what did Colton do?... I have a bone to pick. When Olisha had to go the hospital why beg for Felicia? When she so loved Max? Seemed like she was in on the setup for Felicia to see a suicide for the 2nd time orchestrated by holden and his brother again. I might drop this series it's becoming endless with no real satisfaction for me. I don't need it to end because it's like a soap opera but if things don't end up making sense, tying up loose storylines it's gonna get old fast for me. Good luck author....
