The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 434

Scarlett had called that afternoon, and when Vivian casually mentioned she was in a cold war with Silas, Scarlett immediately got excited.

This was Silas Sterling. Other than herself, Scarlett had never seen anyone else manage to give him the cold shoulder and get away with it.

Now that someone finally had the guts to do it, she absolutely had to watch this drama unfold from start to finish.

Of course, it would be even better if she could add a little fuel to the fire.

Seeing Vivian sitting perfectly still, Scarlett took two steps forward and threw her arm around Vivian's shoulders. "Didn't you say you wanted to provoke him? Let me tell you, tightly-wound guys like Silas care about their pride more than anything. If you go out and make him jealous, I guarantee the results will be spectacular."

Vivian brushed the hand off her shoulder.

"Stop messing around. Your mom is calling you home for dinner."

"..."

Scarlett clicked her tongue. "You don't believe me?"

"No." Vivian shut down her computer, her voice lazy. "I just don't want to talk to you."

"You little—"

Scarlett reflexively wanted to curse, but meeting the woman's warning glare, she swallowed the words right back down.

"Are you coming or not?"

She gritted her teeth, trying to look fierce.

"If you don't go, I'm going to tell Silas that you have an ulterior motive for getting close to him!"

Vivian had already grabbed her bag and stood up, looking at her with a bright smile. "Do you think you're smarter than Silas? If you know, don't you think he knows?"

Scarlett was speechless.

"Cut the crap. If you want me to go with you, fine."

Vivian opened the payment code on her phone. "Pay up. Five thousand dollars an hour."

"..." Who the hell do you think you are to charge that much?!

Scarlett ultimately transferred the money anyway.

They went to Lounge One. As soon as Scarlett walked in, the marketing manager treated her like royalty, greeting her with a beaming smile.

"Ms. Sinclair, would you prefer the bar or a private booth tonight?"

"A booth. And bring all the most handsome men you have over here."

She pointed her slender finger at Vivian. "Entertain her. And you'd better do a damn good job of it."

The manager's gaze shifted, finally noticing Vivian standing next to her. A flash of pure awe crossed his eyes when he saw her face.
