Chapter 324
A masterpiece like this deserved to be thoroughly appreciated.
A long moment passed.
His gaze slowly trailed downward.
Her slender neck. Her delicate collarbones.
Absolutely stunning.
He ran his tongue over his teeth, nearly losing his mind.
He reached out and began unbuttoning Vivian’s blouse.
One button.
Two buttons.
His movements were rushed and impatient. Suddenly, Vivian’s eyes snapped open.
Her mind was still clouded, but she could make out a blurry silhouette hovering over her, touching her.
This person…
“You’re awake?”
The man actually laughed, leaning closer to her face. “Surprised to see me the moment you opened your eyes? I noticed earlier-you’ve been drugged, haven’t you… Perfect timing. You’ll be discharged tomorrow, but tonight, let me be your cure. Sound good?”
Even before he spoke, Vivian knew exactly who it was.
“Harrison Fowler.”
Her voice was raspy, robbing the threat of its usual lethal edge. “Get out.”
“Get out to where?” Harrison smirked, his face twisting with a vile grin. “The only place I’m going tonight is your bed. You have no idea the lengths I’ve gone to just to share a pillow with you.”
He eyed her, his smile growing even wider.
“Couldn’t tell when you were fully dressed, but you’re hiding some stunning curves.”
Vivian only then felt the chill on her chest. Her blouse was half-unbuttoned, revealing the edge of her black lace lingerie.
Gritting her teeth, she pushed against the mattress, trying to scramble up.
The moment she moved, the man shoved her back down with effortless cruelty.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
“You actually think you can run away?”
With a sudden, desperate jerk, she threw herself sideways.
Though she managed to evade his grasp, she crashed hard onto the floor.
Vivian let out a muffled groan of pain, her temper fully flaring.
The bed creaked as the man reached down to grab her.
Using her momentum, she twisted out of his grip and quickly scrambled backward.
Her eyes, glossy and bloodshot, burned with razor-sharp clarity.
Vivian stared at Harrison, her voice icy. “Have you ever thought about the consequences of assaulting me?”
“Consequences? I’d rather die a happy man tonight than miss out on this. Let’s finish the job before we worry about that.”
Harrison was completely arrogant. With the backing of the Fowler family, he knew making an incident like this disappear would be child’s play. “Or, you could just surrender… how about becoming my woman?”
Large beads of sweat rolled down Vivian’s forehead, making her pale face look heartbreakingly fragile yet defiant.
Two seconds passed.
Her red lips parted. “Go to hell.”
