"Valerie mentioned she already reached out to you about the dress fitting?"

She wasn't going to play favorites; all six girls would receive the same gift.

"You just handle the details however you see fit. If you need anything, just tell Nathan."

Not only was Harold bankrolling the entire wedding, he was also giving her complete creative control.

Nora felt a wave of bashfulness.

"You don't need to stress over us, Grandpa. If there's anything you need help with regarding the wedding, just let us know."

When they were working, it made sense to be hands-off, but now that they were both on leave, it felt wrong to let others do all the heavy lifting.

"Everything is practically finalized. You two just focus on resting up so you look your absolute best for the big day."

Her cheeks flushed. "Thank you, Grandpa."
