The Alpha King's Mind Reading Maid (Cecilia) novel Chapter 302

Chapter 302

gamma’s body crashed into my mother’s vanity with a deafening crack.

I felt Lora pushing herself to the surface, anger rolling off her in waves. She didn’t like the threat to our pup, and she would do whatever it took to protect what belonged to us.

“…what?” One of the gammas said, looking puzzled. They were all standing frozen, staring at me like I had grown another head, and then looking back at the tallest gamma, who was recovering as quickly as possible.

“Did you find her?” A familiar voice asked from the doorway.

My heart stopped when I saw Anna standing there, looking between the gammas and her arms folded across her chest. When she saw me, her own eyes widened, and she sucked in a sharp breath.

“Why haven’t you taken her yet? What are you waiting for?” She demanded to know, pointing at me. “You know the rules. What is she paying you for if you can’t do a simple task?”

I had no idea what she was talking about, but I wasn’t going to let them take me. I darted forward, driving my elbow into the nearest gamma’s throat. He stumbled backward, gasping for air and clutching his neck.

Before the third could reach me, I ducked beneath his arm, swept his legs from beneath him, and slammed my palm into his chest hard enough to send him crashing into the wardrobe.

More wood splintered as clothing rained onto the floor.

“I thought she was just an omega!?” One of the gammas shouted.

Anna let out a chortled laugh as she rolled her eyes.

“And you believed that garbage? She’s no Omega. She has Alpha blood… she’s Alpha William’s unwanted daughter. She’s trained to fight… but so are you! Don’t let her win!!”

The tallest gamma lunged towards me again, growling as his eyes glowed. His wolf was close to the surface.

“Don’t touch me!” I shouted, and just as I was about to swing at him, he released his gamma’s aura, which practically knocked me to the ground.

The other three did the same thing; the pressure crashed into me like a wave, and I let out a deep scream that nearly broke the windows.

Lora stirred weakly beneath my skin.

“Can’t… fight,” she whimpered. “Too… weak…”

Just as I felt my knees touching the ground, tears burned in my vision.

“I know,” I said back to her. My voice, even in my own head, was nothing more than a whisper. “You did good, Lora.”

“I’m… sorry…” Lora whispered back before I felt her fading and burying herself in the furthest part of my mind for a long-needed rest.

I felt a sharp sting in my neck, and panic struck me when I realized it was a needle. One of the gammas had his arms around me while another stuck me with something. I had no idea what it was… that is, until my vision went hazy and everything around me went black.

ceremonial jacket felt like a prison.

Itugged absently at the cuffs as another tailor circled me, muttering under his breath while adjusting the embroidered shoulders.

“Your Majesty, if you continue moving, I’ll never finish.”

I rolled my eyes.

“I am standing still.”
