As soon as Sheila stepped outside, she spotted Cecil.
"Sheila."
He was wearing a black silk shirt, radiating an effortless, aristocratic charm.
"Cecil," Sheila called out, jogging over to him. "What are you doing up so early?"
"I didn't want you to starve," Cecil replied with a warm smile. "You missed out on our feast yesterday, so I'm making up for it this morning. Guess what it is?"
There was no way Sheila could guess.
Cecil offered a hint. "It's your absolute favorite from back in the day."
From back in the day?
Sheila stared at him in disbelief. "Did you... make it yourself?"
Cecil nodded.
Her eyes lit up instantly. "Ravioli?"
Cecil chuckled. "Can you cook it up in your dorm?"
"Absolutely!"
Who would have thought that the now highly esteemed Mr. Rhodes was once a wizard in the kitchen?
His culinary skills were top-tier, and his homemade ravioli filling was nothing short of legendary.
Back then, whenever the New Year rolled around, he was always the one tasked with making the filling for both of their families.
All these years later, Sheila felt like she had never tasted ravioli quite like that again.
Honestly, there were very few dishes left in the world that could truly make her mouth water.
But craving that familiar taste wasn't really about the food—it was about the memories tied to it.
Cecil grabbed the containers from his car. "Let's head upstairs, then."
"Wait..." It suddenly hit Sheila that she had a little guest tucked away in her room.
Cecil looked at her suspiciously. "What is it? Don't tell me you're hiding someone in there."
He said it playfully, half-joking.
But then he noticed the awkward shift in her expression.
His smile vanished. "Are you serious? Are you seeing someone?"
