She's Too Busy Winning to Watch Him Cry novel Chapter 678

Sabrina stared at the endless racks of new arrivals, understanding perfectly. Lyra was now a top-tier VIC for all the major luxury brands, enjoying exclusive privileges like early access and private home deliveries. The limited-edition pieces that ordinary wealthy people fought over were just regular seasonal selections for her.

Lyra turned to Sabrina with a gentle smile. "Sabrina, pick out a few outfits for yourself. You're always bringing things for Pip, so it's my turn to treat you."

Sabrina laughed. "These are all top-of-the-line designer pieces. My toys aren't worth nearly as much."

"You can't put a price tag on love," Lyra replied.

With that, she gave a subtle wave to the waiting Sales Associates.

The highly trained consultants immediately caught on. The lead associate, incredibly tactful and with an exceptional eye for fashion, perfectly assessed Sabrina's style and vibe. She helped Sabrina select two gorgeous outfits she adored, promising to have them delivered straight to her place in the right sizes.

When Sabrina was leaving Blackwood Manor, Lyra walked her to the car. Sabrina looked a bit sheepish. "Jayden Ward might end up being Pip's godfather. Will your husband... mind?"

Lyra paused. Did that mean their blind date had worked out and they were officially together?

Recovering quickly, Lyra replied with an easy smile, "Rowan won't care. He's not that petty. Congratulations, Sabrina."

"Thanks. Just make sure to give Rowan a heads-up. Head back inside, it's cold!" Sabrina drove off, looking incredibly happy.

That evening at the dinner table.

Lyra cast a hesitant glance at Rowan, who was busy cutting up diced shrimp for Pip.

She was just about to bring up the topic of Jayden Ward potentially becoming Pip's godfather when Delilah Fairchild called.

Delilah asked what she had been up to lately.

She complained about Lyra not visiting her side of the family.

She missed Pip.

"We'll come over soon," Lyra promised over the phone.

Lyra burst into laughter. "You little foodie."

Time slipped by quietly, and in the blink of an eye, months had passed. It was time for the holidays, a season for family reunions.

Caspian Jameson, who had been out of the picture for a long time, finally ended his days wandering abroad and returned to the Jameson Residence in Seaborne City.

Before the gala, Victoria mentioned Caspian's return. Lyra specifically called to ask, "Is Caspian coming back alone this time?"

Victoria's voice came through the line, "He sure is. He's flying back all by himself."

Lyra let out a sigh of relief. It seemed Caspian and Jasmine Ford hadn't ended up together after all.

"Hurry over, Grandpa Alistair is already here." Victoria had ordered the staff to prepare an extravagant New Year's Eve Gala. "Grandpa said this is his first holiday gala with his great-grandson, so it has to be incredibly grand."

Snapping out of her thoughts, Lyra hugged Pip close. "Okay, we'll be right there."
