Left for Dead Came Back for Everything novel Chapter 86

"If it were not for my parents back then, you would have frozen to death!"

"Are you going to slander me like this just for someone who doesn't even love you anymore!"

Zander pinched the bridge of his nose, staring at the wailing Yvonne as his mind spiraled into absolute chaos.

Had he really accused her wrongly?

Though his suspicions were not entirely erased, he could no longer bring himself to interrogate her.

With Yvonne just weeping and throwing a tantrum, it was impossible to drag the truth out of her.

All he could do was shake her off and stumble out of the house in a daze.

He had to see Eliza. He needed to ask her face-to-face!

He needed to know the whole truth!

But he could not find her anywhere.

For the next few days, Zander scoured every possible place Eliza might be, acting like a madman.

But every time, Gwen would miraculously appear and unleash a barrage of venomous curses at him.

After exhausting all his connections, he finally tracked down Eliza's current apartment building.

But he was stunned to discover that the apartment was registered under Julian's name.

The thought that they might already be living together drove Zander to the brink of insanity.

He staked out the building for days but did not catch a single glimpse of her.

He hammered the buzzer countless times, only to be met with the intercom's cold, automated voice: "I am sorry, the resident has declined your visit."

It was not until the evening of the fourth day.

The automatic glass doors of the lobby slowly slid open. Eliza walked out wearing white loungewear, seemingly carrying a bag of trash.

She took it step by step.

Zander's eyes lit up, and he lunged forward.

"Eliza!" He reached out to grab her hand.
