Eliza shook her head helplessly and could only put it on.

The silver-grey fabric flowed like liquid moonlight, flawlessly accentuating her stunning curves.

Gwen, meanwhile, changed into a flamboyant red halter dress. Linking her arm through Eliza's, the two chatted and laughed as they made their way toward the luxurious first-floor deck.

Before they even got close, the deafening sound of a symphony orchestra, mixed with the howling of the ocean breeze, rushed at them.

The entire first-floor deck had been completely transformed. Tens of thousands of imported Bulgarian white roses formed a literal sea of flowers, while a massive champagne tower refracted extravagant halos in the sunlight.

Amidst the glamorous attire and fragrant perfumes were socialites holding wine glasses, and even quite a few media members who had caught wind of the event, holding their cameras at the edges to snap photos.

The scale was immense, and utterly ostentatious.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Gwen curled her lip, lowering her voice to mock directly into Eliza's ear.

"They made it look like a nouveau riche company party. This taste is absolutely terrible. Let's go, Eliza, let's see how today's wedding is actually set up. I've never seen someone rent out a studio theater for a wedding before."

Eliza's lips curved upward as she followed Gwen's pace, slowly circling past a massive floral archway.

However, the moment she lifted her eyes and her gaze cut through the layers of the crowd to land on the center of the stage—

Her smile vanished.

Not far away, at the end of the red carpet, stood the bride and groom.

The man was dressed in a tailored white suit, his profile sharp and cold.

The woman beside him wore an outrageously large, diamond-encrusted wedding gown. She was affectionately clinging to the man's arm, smiling with extreme shyness.

On the massive electronic screen behind them, a line of calligraphy scrolled prominently:
