She smiled and nodded repeatedly, humoring her. "Yes, yes, our Miss Gwen is a total player who glides through the dating pool without catching feelings. You're the ultimate queen of the sea, alright? Let's go, the wind is strong out here. Come back inside and play a couple of games with me."

"Hmph, consider them lucky. I'm in a good mood today, so I won't argue with idiots." Gwen scoffed coldly, finally satisfied enough to step behind the wheelchair and slowly push Eliza back.

The two bantered playfully all the way back to the penthouse suite.

As soon as they walked in, Gwen threw her entire body into the soft leather sofa, sprawling out completely.

After a long while, she suddenly sat up like a springing fish, her eyes shining brightly as she stared at Eliza:

"Hey, Eliza, why don't we go join the fun tomorrow? We've got nothing else to do anyway!"

Eliza, who was doing a routine massage on her left leg, paused slightly upon hearing this. "Join what fun?"

"That cheap wedding where they could only afford the theater!" Gwen leaned in, wearing an expression eager for drama.

"I want to see exactly which unlucky bastard is being packaged as this so-called peerless good man. We're bored on the yacht anyway, so let's just treat it as a free monkey show. You in?"

Seeing her friend's gleeful desire for chaos, Eliza couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright," she agreed softly.

There was no harm in going to take a look. It would just add a bit of entertainment to this comfortable time that belonged to them.

Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the waves continuously hit the hull, letting out a rhythmic sound.

Eliza turned her head, her gaze piercing through the clear glass to look at the distant white clouds.

The weather was incredibly beautiful; it really was the perfect setting for a maritime wedding.

By this time, Zander and Yvonne's wedding should be taking place too, right?

Or had it already happened?

Eliza thought quietly, the image of Zander's perpetually furious face flashing through her mind.
