30 Days Till I Divorce My Husband novel Chapter 530

Leonora didn't stir trouble, nor did she do anything to upset him. Yet here she was, feeling a bit slighted.

Taylor gently pinched her cheeks while she groggily held onto his wrist, muttering, "I just dreamt you were mad at me, yelling at me."

If it weren't for that dream, she might have kept on sleeping.

Taylor found her pouting rather amusing. "How could I ever dare to be mad at you, let alone yell at you?" He continued, "Arielle, you've slept for 14 hours. Don't you think it's time to get up and have something to eat?"

With no office obligations, she could sleep without a care in the world.

Hearing Taylor's words, Leonora blinked in surprise. "Have I really slept that long? I had no idea." Hugging a pillow close, she added, "I've been so tired lately, always feeling sleepy. Sometimes I can sleep the whole day away."

Taylor kissed her cheek. "Get up and have some breakfast first. You can always go back to sleep after."

Leonora, still clutching the pillow, lazily looked at Taylor and asked, "Aren't you going to the office today?"

"Why would I go to the office when you're still asleep? Besides, it's not often I get to coax you over. I should keep you company."

"I don't need anyone's company."

"…," Taylor sighed, "Leonora, can't you say something nice for once?"

Seeing Taylor's displeasure, Leonora gave him a quick smile and then buried her face back in the pillow. She had indeed slept very well the previous night.

"Still don't feel like getting up? I can bring breakfast over and feed you."

"I'll get up."

The idea of being fed was too childlike for her taste. She wasn't a three-year-old, after all.

So, she quickly scrambled out of bed.

After a quick shower, getting dressed, and freshening up, she headed to the dining room.

By then, Taylor had already served up breakfast, complete with pancakes and coffee.

Taking care of Leonora seemed to have become a habit for Taylor, one he was quite adept at.

Sitting down at the dining table, Leonora casually mentioned, "After breakfast, I'll head home, and you can go to the office and get busy."

Taylor served her some bacon. "So, I made all that fuss to have you over just for a sleepover?"

"…," Leonora retorted, "What else were you expecting in broad daylight?"

"Just to spend time with you."

Leonora playfully stuffed a piece of toast into his mouth.

Taylor laughed, enjoying their playful banter.

While eating, Taylor asked, "Not planning to return to the office yet? Still avoiding me?"

If it weren't for Grant being at the office, Taylor would have already dragged her back.

Leonora replied, "I'm taking a few days off." Having stayed home for a few days, she wasn't keen on returning to the office.

"That's fine," Taylor said. "Just don't think about looking for a new job for now. The terms won't be better than what you have now."

At that, Leonora looked up at him, surprised.

"You knew?" She thought she had kept her job-hunting a secret from Taylor, so she was caught off-guard by his awareness.

"Your little schemes are written all over your face," Taylor said, then added, "Just rest at home for a few more days."
