Estrella couldn’t be bothered with him, tossing a bottle of liniment at him, “Leave now, or I’m calling the cops.” With that, she began to pack up her first aid kit. Seeing her about to leave with the kit, Jason reached out and grabbed her wrist, “Wait, sweetheart, don’t go just yet.”

Estrella turned, her gaze dripping with disdain. Here we go again.

With that, he popped the trunk of the car, sat down, and patted the space next to him, “Sit.” Estrella didn’t move. Jason pulled her over, reassuring her, “We’re right at your doorstep. I wouldn’t dare do anything to you here.”
