Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 1175

Naturally, unless absolutely necessary, no one in their right mind would ever resign from Solflare.

The policy extended across the board. If your idea brought in capital, you got a cut.

Soren pressed on, "Twenty percent is more than enough for Vertex Social. Once they see the sheer potential of this concept, they'll sign without hesitation.

As for the remaining ten percent, we can leverage it to partner with a few promising indie studios."

Taking in his analysis, Mira shared a brief look with Owen. "Let's move forward with your plan."

Mira's strategic outlook was still occasionally tinted by her past life. Back then, Vertex Social had been an unstoppable monolith, and she still reflexively viewed her own position as the underdog.

Because of that lingering mindset, she often defaulted to offering them a larger slice of the pie. She hadn't fully internalized that Solflare's market power had already eclipsed Vertex's, or that her own corporate influence dwarfed theirs.

Mira was now the reigning queen of Mavaria's business sector.

It was just that Solflare had expanded at such a breakneck speed, she hadn't quite caught up to her own reflection in the mirror.

As her fellow protégé and a veteran in the industry, Owen always gave her the space to operate freely, never micromanaging her decisions.

He only offered a gentle nudge when absolutely necessary.

He refused to let his own perspective stifle her boundless potential.

Soren, however, viewed the landscape through a purely objective, clinical lens.

"Take the team and lock down the contract with Mr. Rhodes this afternoon. Stick to the structure you just outlined.

Call us if they push back."

Mira instructed.

During their earlier collaborations with Vertex Social, Solflare had been a scrappy startup, requiring both Mira and Owen to be present for every negotiation.

Times had changed. Operations of this scale could now be comfortably delegated to Soren.

"Mr. Thorne, I presume? It's an absolute pleasure to finally meet you in person."

Owen mirrored her greeting with a warm nod.

As the younger executive on her home turf, Mira naturally extended the first courtesy.

Marcus offered a polished smile. "The pleasure is mine. I've been meaning to arrange this for some time. I was unfortunately tied up during our last two signings.

When Nathaniel mentioned a new venture today, I booked a flight immediately. I just didn't expect you to have already left the building."

"We figured you were standing us up again, so we didn't bother waiting around,"

Owen joked smoothly.

"Just kidding. We've been buried in deadlines, so we left the heavy lifting to Soren."
