Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 1352

"You can enter the market however you please, but if your account gets liquidated, I won't bail you out."

Owen warned Sebastian.

That massive pool of capital had been painstakingly gathered by Owen. Even the loaned portion carried exorbitant interest rates and heavy personal favors.

When Sebastian's account had blown up the last time, Owen had fronted him a hundred million dollars out of goodwill. But he wasn't his mother; he couldn't keep financing his endless blunders.

The day after Sebastian entered the market, the Siamese Baht continued its freefall. Sebastian gloated, pointing a finger at Owen. "Look! The money I put in has already doubled. If you hadn't stopped me from investing the other half, that would have doubled too.

Stock trading requires guts and precision. You have to strike when the iron is hot. Someone as terrified of his own shadow as you will never achieve anything."

With a scoff, Sebastian dumped the remaining half of his capital into the same short position. Owen tried to stop him, but the trades executed instantly. It was too late.

Fortunately for Sebastian, the Baht dropped even further the following day, fueling his unbearable arrogance.

"See? This is what happens to the shortsighted. I'm practically swimming in cash, while you're still sitting there, trembling in fear, without a penny to your name.

I'm telling you, cut ties with Ethan and Mira. My niece and nephew are nothing but trouble. Anyone who gets close to them ends up cursed."

Owen had no energy to argue with a fool. His eyes were glued to his monitors, his earpiece keeping him in constant sync with Ethan and Mira.

Assuming Owen's silence meant submission, Sebastian smugly continued his lecture.

"Honestly, when you refused to marry Seraphina, I thought it was a tragedy. But looking at you now, not marrying you was a blessing for her.

You've been completely corrupted by those two brats."

Sebastian tilted his chin up, aggressively wagging a finger in Owen's direction, looking thoroughly pleased with himself.

Standing nearby, Jordan's blood boiled with every word. But since Sebastian was technically his apprentice's adoptive father, he held his tongue.

"For the sake of our bond, I'm advising you—stay as far away from those siblings as possible."

Right at the peak of Sebastian's grandstanding, the Baht's plummet violently halted.

Ethan's voice snapped through Owen's earpiece: "Enter the market. Deploy two-thirds of your capital. Buy long."

The Baht had finally hit rock bottom. In professional terms, it was time to 'buy the dip.'

Owen executed the massive trade without a split second of hesitation.

Sebastian shrieked. "You entered the market?! And you dumped that much capital?!

Are you out of your mind? You're betting against the trend! Is your brain completely hollow?!"

Ignoring him entirely, Owen maintained a laser focus on the glowing charts.
