The hundred soldiers they had incapacitated last time had been caught off guard. The military still didn't realize the full extent of Mira's tactical capabilities.
If they were captured again, the enemy would lock them down completely. Every weapon and medical supply they had would be stripped from them.
They would be entirely defenseless, likely facing the same horrific fate as Sienna Stanford.
"Can you even use borrowed passports?"
James sounded doubtful.
"We can. Don't forget, we have unparalleled disguise specialists.
Once we land in the Javenaire Federation, we can mail the passports back to the owners, or they can simply report them lost and request replacements.
We'll pay a handsome fee to anyone willing to lend us theirs."
"Well, that could actually work, assuming your disguises are as good as you say."
James considered it for a moment.
"Then head over to my place tonight. You'll fly out tomorrow. I'll send cars for you immediately."
"Understood. Thank you!"
Hanging up, Owen immediately notified Dominic to pack their bags. Mira's group sprang into action simultaneously.
An hour later, the vehicles James arranged arrived, and the group quickly departed.
Five miles down the road, the villa's servant called. "Thank God you left. The police launched a surprise raid tonight, forcing everyone through ten different inspection points.
We're standing in line right now."
James called right after. "My dear Mira, you have the gift of foresight!"
"My student's instincts are second to none!"
Master Ellis boasted proudly.
An hour later, they arrived at James's estate. The moment Mira walked through the door, she said, "My friend, I owe you a massive favor for this. I'll make sure you're properly repaid."
"Don't worry about it. It was barely an inconvenience."
"Alright. I need to head home to handle a few things first, but then I'll move into The Larsen Grand with you all. This time, we're accomplices."
He said with a laugh.
"Accomplices sounds terrible. Back in Mavaria, only criminals are accomplices. We're partners."
"Right, right, partners. Man, Mavarian terminology is complicated."
James chuckled.
Just as Mira's group turned to get into their cars, Owen's phone rang. It was Jared Sutton, the newly promoted Vice President of the Lance Group.
With Owen away, Jared had full authority over the company.
"Boss, yesterday afternoon, Richard and Lady Lilian paid an exorbitant amount of money to bail Lawrence out.
Today, they used their status as members of the Lance family to try and force me to step down so Lawrence could take over as VP."
"They aren't on the board of directors. What gives them the right to force you out?"
