The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback (Felicia and Max) novel Chapter 909
Colton turned and watches his daughter in confusion. Ava had previously reminded him that there was nothing they could do to help Felicia right now, so it was best to simply stay out of it. Since Darin was already worrying about her affairs, they remained completely in the dark about her actual situation with Max and chose not to ask. But what did it mean for Max to send over so many things?
After the delivery staff carefully set down the items, one of them walked over to Felicia with a receipt. "Excuse me, are you Ms. Ross?"
Felicia murmured a soft note of confirmation.
"Please sign here."
Taking the receipt from his hand, Felicia signed her name with a smooth motion and handed it back. The workers then quietly took their leave.
Emerging from the kitchen, Ava noticed the neatly arranged gift boxes in the living room. "Who sent these?"
"Max did," Colton replied.
Ava cast a thoughtful look at Felicia. Not wanting to overcomplicate things just yet, Felicia simply said, "Let's just keep them for now."
"Mommy!" Anne's delighted voice echoed from outside the living room.
Joy bloomed in Felicia's heart as she hurried toward the door. Wearing a beautiful little dress, Anne practically launched herself into her mother's arms the moment they saw each other. Felicia crouched down and held the little girl tightly, feeling the lingering weight in her chest finally dissolve.
"Mommy, I missed you so much," Anne whispered.
"I missed you too, sweetie," Felicia replied softly. After holding her for another long moment, she slowly stood up.
Colton had stepped up right behind them. "My little Anne is here. Let me give you a hug."
"So what if I am a woman? Can't a woman go after a man? What else am I supposed to go after?"
"You..."
With a forceful tug, Savannah pulled him down slightly, stood on her tiptoes, and planted a firm kiss directly on his lips.
Darin's eyes widened in sheer shock. He quickly grabbed the hand clutching his collar, pried her fingers away, and took a hasty step back to straighten his posture. Savannah was not annoyed in the slightest. Noting the sudden flush spreading across the tips of his ears, she let out a slow smile, crossed her arms, and studied him with deep amusement. "Your ears turn red so easily."
His eyes darkening, Darin spun around and marched swiftly back the way they came. Savannah jogged to catch up, noting his grim expression. She raised an eyebrow and teased, "Are you mad?"
When Darin offered nothing but silence, Savannah chuckled. "It has only been a few years since we last kissed. Is there really a need to be this shy?"

Oh nooo!! Don’t tell me Max will get washed ashore on a remote island then loses all his memory, then falls inlove with the local girl who saves him. Then when he meets Felicia again he won’t recognize her and breaks her heart again. Additional plot twist is that Felicia is pregnant with their 2nd child. Please pleaseee don’t give us this scenario.. LOL!!!...
If Max can be forgiven Darrin can be forgiven. And I do not like this marriage business but if it has to happen I hope after he gets stranded on some remote island alone while Felicia and his family fight over custody she wins and also gets half his estate. Then by time he comes back she's found having and remarried. Lol...
The writer is good. They're making me interested in Max. I won't say like yet....
It seems the only one who hasn't suffered is Max. Even his family fakes anger and disappointment all their own doing so they suffer a little. Everyone else has suffered. Luke and Jeremy unrequited. Felicia has suffered the most from family to unrequited to romance to long suffering Mother. Even baby Anne never had a mother til Felicia suffered then came back only to suffer some more. lol...
Oh no what did Colton do?... I have a bone to pick. When Olisha had to go the hospital why beg for Felicia? When she so loved Max? Seemed like she was in on the setup for Felicia to see a suicide for the 2nd time orchestrated by holden and his brother again. I might drop this series it's becoming endless with no real satisfaction for me. I don't need it to end because it's like a soap opera but if things don't end up making sense, tying up loose storylines it's gonna get old fast for me. Good luck author....
Anne, I think your baby brother is on the way. Thank goodness it doesn't say that Felicia is crying just like the last time but still, there's no willingness on her part. Max! You need to try harder. Make her fall in love with you again....
