Ivy clenched her fingers slightly and spoke in a natural tone. "If two people have absolutely no intersection in their lives, and the other person is quite aloof, how can one catch his attention without being impolite?"
Hearing Ivy's implicit words, Felicia immediately understood what she meant. Ivy already had someone in her heart. However, Ivy clearly looked like an introverted, reserved woman. Asking her to pursue someone fiercely was probably impossible. Felicia wondered what kind of excellent man could make a woman like Ivy, who had such a good family background and talent, only harbor a secret crush and not know how to approach him.

When Ava returned with Sean, they prepared to leave. After bidding farewell to Ivy, they walked out of the gallery. Just as they exited, they ran into Dannie. She was following a wealthy lady who appeared to be her mother. Dannie glanced up at Felicia, but Felicia looked straight ahead and walked out the main door without giving her a second glance.
In the afternoon, they strolled around a shopping mall. As for the auction, Felicia ended up calling Tommy, asking him to go and bid on a set of jewelry she had her eye on.
When it was time for Anne to finish school, Felicia went to pick her up. She happened to run into Max right at the school gate. Her footsteps came to a sudden halt. He hadn't told her in advance that he was coming to pick up Anne.
Max saw her and strode over, stopping right in front of her. "I'll go get Anne," he declared.
"Are you taking Anne home today?" Felicia asked.
Max countered with a question of his own. "What do you want to eat for dinner?"
Felicia gazed at the man. The gloominess and coldness that usually clouded his brows and eyes were gone.
Seeing her stay silent, the man added, "We can talk about it later." He then turned and walked into the school.

Oh nooo!! Don’t tell me Max will get washed ashore on a remote island then loses all his memory, then falls inlove with the local girl who saves him. Then when he meets Felicia again he won’t recognize her and breaks her heart again. Additional plot twist is that Felicia is pregnant with their 2nd child. Please pleaseee don’t give us this scenario.. LOL!!!...
If Max can be forgiven Darrin can be forgiven. And I do not like this marriage business but if it has to happen I hope after he gets stranded on some remote island alone while Felicia and his family fight over custody she wins and also gets half his estate. Then by time he comes back she's found having and remarried. Lol...
The writer is good. They're making me interested in Max. I won't say like yet....
It seems the only one who hasn't suffered is Max. Even his family fakes anger and disappointment all their own doing so they suffer a little. Everyone else has suffered. Luke and Jeremy unrequited. Felicia has suffered the most from family to unrequited to romance to long suffering Mother. Even baby Anne never had a mother til Felicia suffered then came back only to suffer some more. lol...
Oh no what did Colton do?... I have a bone to pick. When Olisha had to go the hospital why beg for Felicia? When she so loved Max? Seemed like she was in on the setup for Felicia to see a suicide for the 2nd time orchestrated by holden and his brother again. I might drop this series it's becoming endless with no real satisfaction for me. I don't need it to end because it's like a soap opera but if things don't end up making sense, tying up loose storylines it's gonna get old fast for me. Good luck author....
