Rhiannon straightened up and glared. "Juno, you've gone way too far."

"You've clearly spent your years in the Corrington family growing a thick skin. If I were you, I'd find a dark corner to hide in. I really don't have the audacity to stir up drama the way you do."

Ultimately, Faye was rushed to the hospital.

Sebastian Corrington found himself sitting in the advisor's office once again.

The advisor was at a loss for words.

Sebastian calmly sipped the tea he'd been offered. "We meet again."

"I'm sure you know why I called you here, Professor Corrington. Juno beat Faye Ashworth so badly in Fencing Class that she can't even stand up straight."

"Fencing is a combat sport. A few bumps and bruises are perfectly normal. Was it really necessary to call me in for this?"

The advisor almost choked on her own spit.

"Faye's parents are absolutely furious and are on their way right now. Perhaps you two families should have a talk first?"

"Fine by me."

Sebastian wasn't panicked in the slightest.

Half an hour later, Edna Whitman stormed in, her bodyguards practically kicking the advisor's door open.

"You'd better explain to me right now how my daughter ended up in such a state under your watch!"

The advisor hastily stood up. "I am so incredibly sorry about what happened." She glanced nervously at Sebastian, who was lounging comfortably on the sofa. "Juno's guardian is also here. Would you like to discuss this with him first?"

If the advisor hadn't pointed him out, the blind-with-rage Edna wouldn't have even noticed him.

Edna turned to face Sebastian, her eyes narrowing. "Juno's guardian?"

She recognized him. It was Harrison Corrington's eldest son.

He had just returned from studying abroad.

The Corrington family was entirely in the wrong here. No matter how you spun it, this was their fault!
