Damian scoffed loudly, puffing out his chest like an angry bull as he waited for Babur to fold. "You better have a damn good reason for assaulting my son!"

Babur had just opened his mouth to shout back when a voice drifted in from the doorway:

"I beat him up. You can talk to me."

The voice arrived a second before she did.

Everyone whipped their heads around to see Juno casually strolling into the office.

One look at her immaculate clothes made it instantly clear she wasn't just some random girl off the street.

She was incredibly young and undeniably striking.

Right on her heels was a man who looked equally intimidating and wildly expensive.

Damian looked Juno up and down with deep suspicion. "Who the hell are you?"

"Babur's sister."

She strode right into the center of the room.

No one had even looked at Chuck yet, but he flawlessly introduced himself anyway: "Babur's future brother-in-law."

Babur blinked. Since when did he have a brother-in-law?!

The Dean looked wildly between Juno and Rhiannon. He was pretty sure Babur only ever mentioned having one sister.

Juno stopped right in front of Manny and looked down at him. Manny instantly shrank back in guilt, vividly recalling the brutal slap she had delivered to him at the hospital.

Suddenly, his mostly healed face started throbbing all over again.

Damian stepped aggressively into Juno's personal space. "So you're his sister?! The apple clearly doesn't fall far from the trashy tree! You people are absolute scum!"

Babur, who had been sitting quietly like a cornered quail, instantly exploded. "Watch your damn mouth!! Are you seriously trying to act like a respectable adult right now?!"

Rhiannon tried to yank him back into his seat but completely failed.

Outside, Janet was quietly peeking through the cracked door.

Juno simply shot Babur a single glance. He instantly snapped his mouth shut and backed down.

The office fell into absolute silence.
