The leader backhanded the guy standing next to him. "I thought you said the place was empty today!"

That was the whole reason he brought the crew over to trash it.

"I swear! I checked their schedules. Everyone's in class!"

"Then why the hell is someone standing right in front of us?!"

Hector demanded.

The henchman sized her up and scoffed. "Boss, it's just some girl. Are you telling me you can't handle her?"

Hector looked her up and down. He puffed out his chest. "I just don't make a habit of hitting women."

He figured if things got physical, this pretty little thing would be crying on the floor in seconds.

Ten minutes later, in the middle of a massive lecture hall, a student sitting two rows down suddenly gasped. "Holy shit. Wyatt, that new girl is tearing Hector apart at the dojo right now!"

Wyatt shot out of his seat so fast his chair clattered against the desk. The professor glared at him.

"Professor, bad stomach flu!"

"Go," the professor grumbled, turning back to the whiteboard without missing a beat.

With Wyatt leading the charge, half the guys in the lecture hall immediately grabbed their bags and bolted for the door. Nobody wanted to miss this.

When they burst through the double doors of the club, they were just in time to see her grab Hector by the collar and slam him brutally onto the matted floor.

"Oh my god."

The crowd whispered in collective awe.

She straightened up, looking down at Hector with absolute disdain. "Is that really all you've got?"

Wyatt looked from the groaning Hector to the dozen other rival students scattered around the room, clutching bruised ribs and twisted arms. It was painfully obvious she had dismantled the entire gang single-handedly.

Hector felt like he had just been hit by a freight train. Every bone in his body ached. All he could do was glare up at her, utterly paralyzed.

She was dressed in a standard white martial arts uniform, a white belt knotted casually around her waist.
