Evelyn didn't reply again.
Celia toyed with her phone, her smile deepening.
For the past half-month, she had used every possible method to "remind" Evelyn that her thesis was nowhere near good enough for an excellent grade.
If Evelyn truly wanted that top mark. If she truly wanted that scholarship.
What exactly would she do?
Celia was very much looking forward to finding out.

"That's what Alfred said."
Inside the black Porsche Cayenne, Ken reported the conversation to the man in the backseat while driving.
Alistair's expression was icy and stern, his thumb slowly brushing against his index finger.
Ken pursed his lips and sighed in disappointment. "I really never expected Ms. Stafford to take her anger with Mr. Forrester out on an innocent person. It's honestly too much."
Perhaps because he had thought so highly of her before, hearing this felt like a betrayal of trust. It left a bad taste in Ken's mouth.
"And from what Alfred said, she hasn't even been back to the villa because she's giving the old man the silent treatment."
"Mr. Stafford has been in terrible spirits because of her and had to increase his medication."
Alistair's thin lips pressed into a tight line, his eyes cold and severe behind his gold-rimmed glasses.
"When I interacted with her before, I thought she was sweet, elegant, and generous. Turns out it was all an act put on just for you. You really never can tell with people."
Working by Alistair's side, Ken was used to seeing two-faced sycophants.
Given the sheer power and status of the Zucker Family, even the scraps that slipped through Alistair's fingers were enough to set a wealthy family up for life.
So, to cling to the Zucker Family, people would grovel and act completely subservient in front of Alistair, only to show a completely different, ugly face to others.
Ken had seen it countless times.
