152 Dawn of gods (1)
Being obstinate, utilizing rebuttal, or beating your chest out with resolve couldn’t change your predetermined fate. What will happen and what won’t, had already been chosen; a foundation had been laid.
But why?
Why did it all matter? to prevent annihilation? to uphold an order?
He had spent his entire life being used, coerced into submission, made to live in complete terror, and made tow the line.
But.
There was always a but.
Whenever he took a life, whenever he spilled blood, whenever he made others experience terror that he was facing…. Even as a child… He couldn’t deny the satisfaction he always felt.
Having the knowledge that he was the blood moon god’s reincarnation. A bloodthirsty dictator in the heavens. He understood that he was capable of much more. Because of that, his puppeteer had relied on him.
Unfortunately, only oracles and seers were aware of what was happening in the heavens. Others lacked that extraordinary spiritual fortitude. Nobody was aware that the blood moon god and the sun goddess had clashed and relinquished.
1000 Years Ago
Under the starry night sky that included a half moon which shone brighter than usual, a much younger Nikolai was perched on a mountain, staring at his bloodied hands with a bored expression.
He was without a shirt, and the dim nightlight exposed his clear, pale skin and well-defined muscles. His long, dark hair, which was scarlet at the ends, flowed slowly in the breeze.
“I find this hard to believe.” He growled, reaching for the handle of his sword, which was laying at his right side, and then for his black cloak, which was laying at his left. “I didn’t mean to enter the celestial dimension of the sun gods. I’m too close to turn around now.”
He put on his cloak, grinned brightly, and stretched out his arms. “If that fool realizes how far I’ve come, he’s going to murder me.”
The blood moon gods and the moon gods have been at battle since the beginning of time. The current moon goddess was the most powerful moon god, and Nikolai was the most powerful blood moon god. Both were also the rulers of their respective gods.
The war was about which moon should be the superior one, and since the blood moon possessed evil traits resulting from the unstable dark powers and personalities of the blood moon gods, the moon gods were doing everything in their might to prevail in the war at any costs.
They did, however, share a common enemy with the other gods who were distinct from the moon, and they waged war against them as well.
That hostility was brought on by a sense of superiority and pride. All of the gods that were in existence shared and normalized it.
A balanced order of existence itself.
Currently, Nikolai was bringing about a custom that had always been carried out just once every three hundred years-the appearance of the blood moon. A drop of his blood had to be placed in each of the gods’ domains, but he was not allowed to enter any of the domains while he was doing so. It generally took a century to complete and currently, he was at
the final domain.

The sun gods.
He had, however, unintentionally approached too closely and was now trapped in the center of his celestial universe.
“The moon is vanishing,” He murmured, his eyes rising to the half moon,
which was now a crescent.
When the moon totally disappears, the sun will appear, and he will fully enter the celestial dimensional realm of the sun gods.
“Hmmm.” He attentively stroked his chin, his crimson eyes twinkling in the process. “Should I simply murder them all? They will assault me as soon as they detect my presence. However, if there are no more sun gods, the balance of the order will be disturbed.”
He lowered his arms and scowled. “How did I get into this predicament? The sun gods will have to throw me out of this place themselves, but I am the master blood moon god, so that is obviously not going to happen.”
The crescent moon disappeared, the gloomy sky began to fade gradually, and soon it was replaced by two enormous suns and a dazzling, pure blue sky. The once-dark mountain became a grassy mountain with a soothing wind flowing about him.
With his teeth gritted, Nikolai peered around the bright, tranquil landscape. He wasn’t accustomed to seeing the sun or the day. In his eternal life, he had never seen one of them. Until now.
And despite the absence of any godly energy in the vicinity, he wasn’t prepared to lower his guard.
He was acutely aware of every sound. There were rushing waterfalls that appeared to be on the mountain’s opposite side, tweeting and singing birds, and female laughter.
“Huh?” Nikolai’s eyes grew small.
