“Are you confident in your strength? You did expend a great deal of energy.” As he handed Nikolai his regal white coat, Rhaziel stated with concern. “You certainly didn’t have enough energy from Pain, either. Your magic sense is incredibly feeble.”
“I’m awake and standing on my own two feet, can you not see? Everyone’s recent concern for me makes me cringe. Everyone but Ophelia. She’s really adorable.” Nikolai stated, adjusting the high collar on his shirt and gazing in the tall mirror. “Plus, I didn’t tell Pain to give me a lot of energy. He needs to shield me from harm in case something happens.”
Rhaziel arched his eyebrows. “How come you say that?”
Nikolai gathered the cloak and donned it. “I came upon the dragon just before we left the castle. He is under a spell, and I believe it is a component of the one Tiana put on him. This one stands out and is more
sinister.”
“And why didn’t you dissolve it?” Frowning, Rhaziel inquired, approaching a table where a wrapped bottle was before grabbing it and tossing it towards Nikolai, who caught it with ease. Nikolai then opened the bottle and drank all of the contents before tossing it back at Rhaziel, who caught it and set it back on the table.
“I couldn’t.” Nikolai responded, licking the blood off his lips and turned to
face Rhaziel.
“Which means that it is a spell that only the caster can break.” Rhaziel clenched his jaw and groaned.
“I’m not even sure what kind of spell it is.” Nikolai murmured haltingly. “If he engages in any mischief, I’ll just kill him.”

“Seems you want a divorce before you actually get married.” Rhaziel deadpanned.
“Harsh!” With an abrupt eerie smirk, Nikolai snapped and started to move
towards Rhaziel. “How do I look?”
Rhaziel moved away from him and in the direction of the exit. “Let’s go.”
The demon’s lack of response infuriated Nikolai, who scowled severely. “It’s not my fault that you aren’t married!”
Rhaziel murmured dryly, “I’m not in the mood for your spiteful words
Nikolai,” as he and Nikolai left the room and walked out into the mansion’s spacious, well-lit hallway. “Why, of all places, did you pick this one for your wedding?”
“For research purposes.” To express his curiosity about the type of spell Tiana had cast on Lev, Nikolai muttered, biting his tongue. What if the situation became so dangerous that killing him would be his only option?
Knowing that they were related by blood and that Ophelia truly loved him, Nikolai still had no feelings for the dragon. And even though he knew he wouldn’t feel a thing if he had to slay the dragon, Ophelia would be severely hurt and perhaps hate him. He didn’t want that.
As they entered the main, spacious room-the location of the wedding- Nikolai beamed excitedly, oblivious to Sasha, Lev, and Vladmir who were already present.
He moved in the direction of the platform, which was surrounded by unlit
candles. And as he stood in the center, he extended his hands and
produced a few tiny wisps that exploded through the ceiling and made it
vanish.
Concealing spell.
The starless night sky appeared in place of the disappearing ceiling.

Nikolai let out a long, exhausted sigh and put down his hands. It was wise to hold off on using his abilities for a little while. At least until he had the opportunity to get enough rest.
Vladmir immediately came up to him and appeared pretty serious with his eyes in their beast form. “It’s almost time, Nikolai. Where is she?”
“Soon.” Nikolai hummed.
“You know, you should have just made this an official wedding. Many will be opposed, but no one can truly dare to halt the Alpha of Celestia wedding ceremony.” Vladmir said inquisitively.
“This is a choice. It’s not that we desire to have a private wedding because we are afraid or whatever.” Nikolai clarified and put his hands in his pockets. He then glanced at the entrance doors as they opened, revealing Ophelia, who was clothed in a well-fitting dress.
The silky white handless dress elegantly enveloped her shape, which exuded an air of carefree grace. Each side of the garment was embellished with fine golden embroidery that traced eye-catching patterns with a regal flair. The delicately shimmering golden thread gave the snow-white garment a hint of glitz.
Near her hips, there was a subtle opening, lending a hint of allure to the ensemble. It tastefully revealed a glimpse of her smooth milky white thigh, maintaining an air of sophistication, whilst the dress flowed downward, gently swaying with each step she took.
To complement the otherworldly appeal of the dress, it was embellished with a fur sleeve that extended to her elbow. Soft to the touch, the fur created a striking contrast against the smoothness of the silk, adding a touch of opulence to the ensemble.
Though his lips were parted, Nikolai had no idea what to say. His whole body tingled, up to his brain like a tremendous wave.

When Ophelia noticed his expression, she smiled. And as she approached him on the platform, her body tingled as a result of his intense gaze. He gazed at her with grace and a burning, dangerous affection that was tingled with warmth, as one would gaze at their deity.
“Nikolai?” She called, her voice heated as she realized he was totally lost.
At last, Nikolai blinked. “I um.. You looked beautiful, Ophelia Novikov.”
Ophelia smiled. He called her name so gently but the mischief couldn’t be quenched.
Ophelia Novikov.
Sensing the insatiable longing between the couple, Vladmir cleared his throat as he was also totally mesmerized by Ophelia. “Shall we begin?”
Soon Esmeralda entered the space and stood next to Rhaziel who had an expressionless face, but she appeared incredibly excited.
Lev and Sasha were both smiling brightly.
Vladimir cupped his hands and closed his eyes, beginning to hear vivid whispers.
Ophelia and Nikolai stood side by side, facing him. And as Vladmir opened his eyes, which had been in a yellow wolf-like form but instantly changed to a bright white radiance akin to that of the moon, the sky was ablaze with countless, dazzling falling stars.
Vladmir was overcome by the divine force he was receiving as he recited countless incantations. It was starting to get challenging because a peculiar, sharp sensation abruptly started erupting from his brain and flowing to his back.
It served as his punishment for forging a union that the gods were

strongly opposed to.
Vladmir tried his best not to show any signs of suffering on his face, but he knew he was going to die at this rate as he started to lose control of his pure life energy.
He stopped the spell, put his hand on Nikolai’s and Ophelia’s heads, and felt his entire body tighten as vivid images of their previous lives raced frantically through his mind.
He said, “Hold hands,” just before he was ready to collapse.
They complied, but Nikolai noticed something wasn’t right right away.
