Hearing that, Marcus rushed in immediately. His steps were fast and heavy as he made his way straight to the treatment room, which was packed with equipment far more advanced than many hospitals.

Several doctors surrounded Natalie, all speaking in tense, confused voices while trying different methods to stop her bleeding.

The scene was chaotic. Machines beeped sharply. Gloves moved quickly. But nothing seemed to be

working.

Natalie lay on the bed motionless.

Marcus pushed through the doctors. “Natalie!” he called, his voice rising with panic. “Natalie!”

But she didn’t respond. Her eyes were closed. Her face looked pale, almost lifeless.

“What the heck happened?” Marcus demanded, turning sharply to the nearest doctor.

One of them stepped back, swallowing hard. “She arrived here with the guards, they were all badly injured,” he explained quickly. “She was also severely hurt. There’s heavy bleeding from her nose and internal bruises all over her body. We’ve tried everything, but we can’t stop it. At this rate… she may not

survive.”

Marcus’s expression changed instantly.

“What?” he said under his breath. “You better save her. Nothing must happen to her!!!.” he shouted.

Without waiting for another response, Marcus rushed to Natalie’s side and grabbed her hand tightly.

“Natalie… Natalie,” he said again, his voice shaking slightly. “Hey… wake up.”

But she remained unconscious.

For the first time in a long while, Marcus looked genuinely shaken. His jaw tightened as he held her hand

even tighter.

What the heck happened?

First his father was sick and now his only sibling-like person was lying here fighting for her life.

“What is happening?” someone else whispered.

The head doctor stepped back slowly, disbelief written all over his face. “This… this is a miracle.”

“Natalie!” Marcus said quickly, leaning closer. “Natalie, are you okay?”

She breathed heavily, blinking as she slowly focused on him. “Yes… i am.”

Marcus exhaled in relief. “Are you okay?”

Natalie nodded weakly. “I’m fine…”

The doctors quickly moved in again, checking her vitals, running scans, and re-examining her condition. But the results only made them more shocked. Everything was normal. Stable. As if nothing severe had ever happened.

After some hours, they completed basic treatment, placed a drip, and gradually left the room, still

Marcus held Natalie’s hand tightly.

Natalie nodded slowly. “I’m sorry… I lost the ledger to them.”

There was a silence, then he spoke. “I’m sure they are the same ones who tried to assassinate my father … and the ones I fought before. They’re trying to get the evidence of their identity from that ledger.”

Natalie looked at him carefully. “They’re strong. I really don’t know how we can win against them.”

Marcus didn’t reply immediately. Instead, he slowly raised his wrist and showed her the bracelet.

Then he told her everything about it. How it had reacted in the room. How the aura had left from it and

had saved her life.

Natalie listened in silence, her expression growing more serious.

She exhaled softly. “I’m sure father would know something about these people. If that bracelet can produce something like magic… then your father must know about magic too.”
