But right now, she didn't care.
As long as it made Jasmine disgusted and miserable, it was enough.
She couldn't say anything about Jasmine stealing Rowan from her in the past, but she despised how the woman had driven her into a corner!
Now, she was going to provoke her!
Make her get the hell out of Seaborne City.
Lyra looked at the stunned Jasmine, stepping closer to whisper so only they could hear: "The man you love so much is already under my spell. He licks and begs like a dog. Do you need me to send you the photos?"
The thought of bed photos and videos finally broke Jasmine's restraint, and she swung her hand for a vicious slap.
However, before her fingers even grazed Lyra, she was shoved back by a clean, forceful palm.
The strike was impeccably precise. With a muffled thud, Jasmine lost her balance entirely, stumbling backward and crashing to the floor like a puppet with its strings cut.
Jasmine hit the cold floor hard. Her hair was a mess, her clothes askew, and she gasped in pain, unable to pick herself up for a long time.
Jasmine had never looked so pathetic.
Even Lyra was slightly stunned by the display.
The surroundings instantly fell dead silent, with everyone's gaze locked onto Jasmine's collapsed form.
No one knew what had just happened.
"Who... who are you?" Jasmine knew some kickboxing, but in the face of a professional bodyguard, she was as weak and defenseless as a toddler.
"I'm her bodyguard," Andrea Nash replied expressionlessly.
Jasmine coughed, a thin trail of blood dripping from her lip.
"Hello?"
There was dead silence on the other end. In the dim room, Lyra gripped her phone, remaining perfectly still. After a brief pause, Rowan's deep voice slowly drifted through the speaker, "Do you have anything you want to say to me?"
Of course, Lyra had something to say. "Let's break up. I'm afraid your ex-girlfriend is going to beat me up."
"You really seize every single opportunity to say those words."
Rowan chuckled dryly. "I know you didn't lose a single hair this time. Andrea already sent her flying."
Andrea had stepped in way too early. She was simply too competent.
"You actually feel bad for her, you jerk. Let's break up."
Rowan coaxed her with a few soothing words before hanging up, clearly not taking her threats to heart.
