Edward tossed the newspapers aside and hurriedly entered the bathroom.

When he heard that, he became even more worried. He feared that something might happen to the two babies if she fell hard during the pregnancy. 

He immediately turned the doorknob. Melanie hadn’t locked the door, she only closed it. After all, other than Edward, no one else was at home. Based on his personality, she didn’t think he would barge into the bathroom while she was showering.
