Chapter 100 

At the end of the day, Dalton still looked down on Melanie and thought she didn’t deserve to be in the Grayson family. However, he chuckled coldly and immediately agreed with Edward. 

“Edward’s right. Tell Melanie and Nellie to come out. Let’s talk about it together. Then, everything will be alright after that” 

With that, Edward went off to get Melanie and Nellie When they passed the responsibility over to Melanie, the latter was too smart to accept it Naturally, she would never want to let Felix go. However, if she said that out loud, she would be looking for trouble. So, she let Edward handle the situation once more. 

“Edward, you’re the head of the family. So, you can decide for us. Just tell Dalton your decision” 

Her words were simple, and it sounded like she would follow whatever Edward sald next. In reality, she was actually exerting more pressure on him. Unlike ber, Edward wouldn’t have to be afraid of offending his family. After all, her parents–in–law were his biological parents. So, they would have to go with his decision anyway- 

Edward immediately understood Melanie’s intentions. She was subtly demanding that he deal with it properly; otherwise, he would have to face the consequences later. 

He cleared his throat several times before saying, “Uncle Dalton, I’m not trying to humiliate you, but that child was very mean. Nellie came from the village and had suffered a lot before she came here. She couldn’t even afford to have eggs in the past, Now, she’s finally living blissfully. “However, she’s being bullied at school now. If we forget about it this time, what if the kid bullies her again behind our backs? I want to get to the bottom of this. Otherwise, I’ll be letting Elijah down.” 

Usually, Edward didn’t have much to say. However, he went all out to convince his parents. 

Meanwhile, Melanie simply sat obediently next to him as if the entire incident had nothing to do with her. 

At first, Sapphire and Luca thought it wasn’t a big deal and that they should just forget about it for their family’s sake. 

However, after hearing what Edward had said, they immediately thought of Elijah and how Nellie was his daughter. Melanie and Nellie had indeed suffered a lot. Thus, Luca and Sapphire understood that they shouldn’t allow Felix to stay in the school after he threw some dog feces into their beloved granddaughter’s fare. 

Edward’s words clearly touched Sapphire… 

“Edward’s right. Even if the boy were to bully Nellie, he shouldn’t have gone that far. If he’s doing something like that at such a young age, will he commit arson when he grows up? When you two head back later, tell his parents to educate their son better if they don’t want this to happen again. “We didn’t raise our family just for them to bully us!” 

Since Sapphire had voiced her opinions, Luca had nothing to say. So, he simply agreed with a nod 

Dalton’s face began to turn red. When he arrived earlier, he was confident that he could fix the trivial issue easily. To his surprise, they weren’t planning to let it go at all. 

Everyone knew how capable Edward was. He would always succeed in punishing someone if he wanted to
