The Inner Truth-3
Tara growled softly in agreement, the fire in her protective voice offering Lora some comfort despite the horror unfolding before her. The small trail of blood ran down Lora’s skin, and Han’s eyes lit up in twisted amusement as he watched it. His grin widened, and he leaned closer, his hot breath fanning across her face as he whispered mockingly.
“Oh, poor Luna,” he taunted. “It seems that you’re still wolfless. What a shame.” His voice was a venomous purr, dripping with malice as he observed her vulnerability, believing her to be
defenseless.
Lora clenched her fists, forcing herself to remain still, her mind racing with both fear and fury. She couldn’t let him know the truth, that Tara was slowly regaining her strength. The element of
surprise was all she had left.
Han’s grin never faltered as he leaned in even closer, his lips brushing against her ear. “Now,” he continued, his tone growing darker, more sinister, “I’ll let you in on a little secret.” Lora’s breath hitched as he spoke, his voice sending shivers down her spine. “A little birdie told me that your
mate is close by.”
Her heart stopped. *Azriel… He found me. He’s close! She screamed in her mind.
Hope and dread surged within her, but they were immediately crushed under the weight of Han’s
next words.
“So,” Han grinned, his eyes gleaming with sadistic delight, “I thought I’d give him a nice little welcome gift.” He tilted his head, his gaze locking onto hers as he brought his face inches from
hers. “Scream for me, little Luna,” he whispered, his lips curling into a wicked smile, “while you
spread your legs and take me. Initially, I wanted to wait for my brother to be the first, but where is
the fun in that? He should know better.”
Lora’s entire body went cold as his words pierced her like a dagger. Her mind raced, her body frozen in terror. The horror of what he was suggesting sent a wave of nausea crashing over her, and for a moment, everything seemed to blur. Azriel… her mate… he was close, but how would he find her? How could she stop these monsters before it was too late?
Her breathing quickened, panic clawing at her chest as Han laughed darkly, relishing the torment in her eyes. He thought he had already won. But Lora wasn’t about to give up. Not yet.
“Hold on, Lora,” Tara growled fiercely inside her mind, her voice full of strength and resolve. “We can’t let him break us or dishonor us. Not now. Azriel is coming.”
“But is a suicide mission!” Lora screamed in her head. “Without the Dispell Poems there would be a

massacre!”
“I know, but can you blame him: we are here, and he will do anything to get us back. The damn Lycans knew what they were doing when they took us!” Tara replied with concern.
But her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of ripped clothes, as she realised that Han ripped
her dress.
