Alena’s Fate-2
T “Okay, Alena,” Markus said, his voice low and dangerous. “Go ahead. Tell us what you know about the Lycans.”
Alena straightened up, a sly smile creeping onto her face as she began to speak. “The Lycans,” she started, her tone dripping with malice, “are more powerful than you could ever imagine. They have been gathering forces, building an army that will sweep across the land and crush anyone who stands in their way. They are led by an Alpha who is unlike any other, a monster in both strength
and cunning.”
She paused, watching Markus carefully, trying to gauge his reaction. When she saw nothing but cold detachment, she continued. “They have been planning this for years, biding their time, waiting for the right moment to strike. And when they do, there will be no mercy. Not for you, not for your
pack, not for anyone.”
Markus’s expression remained unchanged, though inside, his anger burned hotter.
“Tell me about the Lycans,” Markus began, his voice steady but with an undercurrent of menace. “Where hey hiding? How did they get in contact with you? Who created this infection for them,
their antidote?”
a hesitated for a moment, her eyes darting nervously as she replied. She began to speak, her Voice shaky, “They’re hiding in the mountains, far from here. They reached out to me through… through a messenger, someone from their pack. As for the infection, it was created by their magic
and -”

breath hitched, and she looked up at him in shock, trying to maintain her composure. “What do
you mean?” she stammered, trying to sound innocent but failing miserably.
Markus’s eyes darkened with fury. “I mean that I know you’re lying to me,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “Everything you’ve told me so far is bullshit, and you know it. Not one single sentence that left your lips was true.”
Alena’s face drained of color, her confidence wavering as fear began to creep in. She opened her
mouth to protest, but the words caught in her throat. “But I’m telling the truth…” she tried, her voice
trembling.
Markus’s patience was wearing thin. What Alena didn’t realize was that Markus possessed a

unique ability, one that allowed him to sense when someone was lying or being deceptive. It was a gift that had served him well over the years, and now, as he stood before Alena, he could feel the weight of her lies pressing against him.
He took a deep breath, his expression hardening. “Enough of this, I am done wasting my time,” he said coldly. “I believe it’s time we tried something else.”
Clearing his throat, Markus straightened up, exuding a powerful aura of authority. When he spoke again, his voice was imbued with the unmistakable force of the Alpha King command, a power that no one could resist, be supernatural or human. “Tell me the truth to my questions,” he ordered,
his words resonating with unyielding power.
Alena immediately reacted, screaming in pain as the command took hold of her. Blood started pour from her nose, her body convulsing as she fought against the compulsion. She had experienced this before, when she had her trial in front of her own pack, this overwhelming force that seemed to tear at her very soul, demanding compliance.

“Answer me, now!” Markus pressed, his voice cutting through her screams like a blade.
Alena’s resistance was strong, but Markus’s command was stronger. She felt as though her mind was being torn apart, the pressure unbearable. She could feel herself breaking, the lies she had clung to crumbling away as the truth clawed its way to the surface.
Tears streamed down her face as she finally began to speak, her voice trembling with fear and pain. “They’re not hiding in the mountains,” she admitted, her words coming out in gasps. “They’re closer than you think. They’ve been moving through the cities, blending in with humans as private military contractors, so they are hiding in plain sight. They contacted me through a Werewolf Council member, Alpha Carter, a spy who’s been working with them.”
