Confession-2
Stone’s laughter died in his throat. “No,” he whispered. “No, it wasn’t. The damn Queen passed away before she fulfilled her promise. Damn her!”
The figure straightened, putting away the pliers and blade. “Thank you for your honesty, Councilman. It will make your punishment all the more fitting.”
Stone’s eyes widened in terror. “Punishment? But I told you everything! It was only Queen Tonya’s fault! I just followed her orders. I am innocent. Now, let me go!”
The figure stepped back into the shadows, his voice echoing in the small room. “Indeed, you did. But you are far from innocent and your actions have consequences. Your crimes cannot go /
unpunished.”
With that, the figure disappeared, leaving Stone alone in the dark room, screaming for help.
Councilman Stone’s screams echoed in the dark room, a desperate, hollow sound that was abruptly interrupted by the slow, mocking clap of hands. His heart pounded in his chest, the sound almost deafening in the silence that followed. His eyes darted to the source of the clapping, and his blood ran cold. Three figures emerged from the shadows, their faces illuminated by the dim
light.
“Bravo, Councilman. What a performance,” the voice was laced with irony, and Stone’s heart nearly stopped when he recognized the speakers. Markus, Anton, and Azriel stood before him, their expressions a mixture of disgust and fury. Stone’s body shook with waves of shock and fear, his
mind scrambling for an escape.
“Please, help me,” he whined, his voice cracking. “It’s not true what I just said. I just wanted to get away from this madman’s trap.”
His desperate pleas were abruptly silenced by a powerful punch from Azriel. The force of the blow sent Stone reeling, his head snapping to the side as he tasted blood. Azriel’s face was a mask of controlled rage as he spoke, “Have some decency and respect, Stone. Don’t take us for fools.”
Markus’s growl resonated in the room, each word dripping with controlled fury. “We heard every
single word, Councilman. But I am not without mercy. I will give you the opportunity to confess…
under the Alpha King’s command.”
Councilman Stone’s pallor grew even more ghostly as he realized the gravity of his situation. He had no way out. Panic seized him, and he began to beg, “Please… show me mercy.”
Markus’s eyes hardened as he issued his command, his voice carrying the weight of his authority as Alpha King. “Tell us the truth.”

Confession 2
Under the compulsion of the Alpha King’s command, Stone felt an irresistible force compelling him to speak. His face contorted with terror, and he began to confess, the words spilling out in a rush.
“I… I did it,” Stone stammered, tears streaming down his face. “At Queen Tonya’s orders, I hired rogues to attack the Stormheart pack. She… she was jealous, consumed by hatred for Luna Storm.
She wanted them all dead.”
Azriel’s fists clenched, his knuckles white with suppressed rage. “And you thought it was worth it, to destroy lives for your ambition?”
Stone’s voice trembled as he continued, “I thought… if Angelika became queen, it would all be
worth it.”
Markus’s eyes blazed with anger and pain. “And the attempt on Kaia’s life? Did you know about
that?”
Stone nodded, his head hanging in shame. “I am not sure. Queen Tonya told me she would handle
Anton, silent until now, stepped forward, his face etched with sorrow and disappointment. “You
betrayed your King, your pack, and your own honour, Stone. All for power and ambition. You could
have come to me, ask for my advice, warn me about what was happening in the shadows. But,
instead, along with my wife, you orchestrated the slaughtering of so many innocent lives. And, for
what?”
Stone’s voice broke as he sobbed, “I’m sorry. Please, forgive me.”
Markus’s expression was cold, unforgiving. “You will face justice, Councilman. For your crimes
against Stormheart, against my mate, and against this pack.”
Azriel looked at Stone with a mixture of anger and pity. “You deserve every bit of punishment
coming your way.”
Markus looked at those present and spoke, “Considering the crimes and the victims involved, I will
let Alpha Azriel here present decide your fate and punishment.”
