A Queen’s Confession-2

Within moments, Azriel arrived, accompanied by the ex-king, Anton. The sight of his sister on the floor, trashing in pain, made Azriel lose his composure. He cursed and threatened everyone in the room, his rage uncontrollable, “What happened here?! What is wrong with her?”

“Snap out of it, Azriel!” Lora screamed at him, her voice sharp and commanding. “I need you now!”

Azriel, hearing the desperation in Lora’s voice, grabbed her in his arms, grounding her as she focused on her powers again. Kaia was once again engulfed in the yellow light glow emanating

from Lora’s hands.

After several intense moments, Kaia lost consciousness, causing Markus’s heart to plummet in desperation. “Kaia!” he cried out, his voice breaking.

Lora looked up at him, exhausted but reassuring. “Don’t worry! She’s resting,” she said softly.

Markus, still trembling, asked, “What about the … baby?”

Lora, though visibly drained, smiled at him. “The baby is good. Your child is safe.”

Relief washed over Markus, as he gathered Kaia in his arms. “Thank you,” he whispered to Lora, his

voice choked with emotion.

As Lora’s words echoed in the room, Queen Tonya suddenly released a strong, piercing scream, “No!!! It’s not possible!” The scream shocked everyone present, reverberating through the grand

hall.

King Anton, who was kneeling next to his mate, tending to her wounds, frowned in confusion. Her injuries were not healing as they should. “Tonya, why are you not healing?” he asked, his voice filled with concern and bewilderment. But the queen was too far gone in her angry rant to respond

coherently.

Markus, gathering himself in the middle of the chaos, suddenly used his Alpha King command on her. “Mother, tell us the entire truth about what transpired here.”

Queen Tonya started trembling, her body resisting the compulsion. She thrashed, pleading desperately, “Please, son, you must understand that I want only what is best for you. Please, don’t

use the command on me.”

But Markus’s voice hardened, and he reinforced his command. “The truth! Now!”

Queen Tonya snapped in her anger, her eyes wild and filled with hatred as the alpha command was full in force. “Kaia is not worthy of you! Your place is next to Angelika!” she screamed.

A Queen’s Confession-2

“What did you do?” Markus pushed, his voice a dangerous growl.

Tonya’s face twisted in rage and desperation. “I gave her what she deserved. I could not let her

become queen and give birth to the abomination from her stomach!”

Markus’s roar of anger echoed through the hall. “What did you do!” he demanded again.

Queen Tonya’s resolve crumbled under his relentless command. She confessed everything, her voice filled with venom and spite. “I enlisted the help of a black witch. I tried to kill Kaia. I tried to

rid this castle of her and that cursed child she carries.”

Markus looked at his mother with disgust, his heartbreak. “I’m disgusted with you.”

“I did it for your own good, but you are just too blind to see it!” Tonya screamed.

“You are too long gone! I should have listened to Kaia when she tried talking to me about you! I

was such a fool!” Markus replied, full of remorse.

But her next words shocked everyone, freezing the room in silence. “Every Storm deserves to die,

just the way I had her arrogant parents killed.”

Gasps filled the hall as the weight of her confession settled over everyone. King Anton’s eyes

widened in disbelief, his hands trembling as he grasped his mate’s shoulders. “Tonya, what have

you done?” he whispered, his voice filled with sorrow and shock.
