Layzal’s Gift-3

Layzal’s eyes flashed with fury. “Vica, stay down!” he commanded. Turning to Azriel, he said, “Your request is granted. You can take your new pet and leave the coven.”

Tim, concerned, asked, “What about the blood bond that ties her to your kind?”

Layzal smiled cunningly. “Someone did his homework.” He approached Dana and, after piercing his finger, let a drop of his blood fall into her mouth while whispering some ineligible words. Dana felt an invisible collar snap from around her neck, and she knew she was free.

“You’re free to go,” Layzal declared.

Azriel and Lora greeted Layzal before ordering their group to pack their belongings and prepare for departure. Azriel then approached a shocked Dana and said in a commanding voice, “Dana, collect your personal items and be ready in 10 minutes for departure.”

Before Dana could respond, Vica spat venomously, “Pets have no belongings or personal property. I demand that she should remove even her current clothes as they don’t belong to her.”

Lora stepped in, her tone strong. “No worries, she will remove them. Come with me to my room,

Dana,” she said, guiding Dana away.

Once in the room, Dana was trembling, on the verge of breaking down. Lora held her steady. “Stay composed, we will talk once we are out of here,” she urged, handing Dana a summer dress. “This is the only thing that might fit you as you are much taller than me, but we will get you clothes once

we are out of here. Hurry.”

Dana removed her clothes with trembling hands and put on the lingerie and dress Lora gave her.

They quickly packed Lora’s belongings, and within 10 minutes, everyone was in the convoy, ready for departure.

Before their departure, the group greeted Layzal with a mix of respect and relief. However, Vica,

consumed by rage, began shouting profanities and curses behind them. Her words cut through the

air like venom, escalating the tension.

Layzal, who had maintained a composed demeanor until now, snapped. His eyes blazed with fury as he turned on Vica. “I have had enough of your disrespect towards me and our guests,” he

snarled.

Without another word, Layzal grabbed Vica. Before anyone could react, he decapitated her with one swift, powerful move. The silence that followed was deafening. Everyone froze in shock as Layzal dropped her head onto the floor, the gruesome sight etching itself into their memories.

Layzals Gift-3

“Clean this mess,” Layzal ordered the surrounding vampires, his voice cold and commanding.

Turning to Azriel, Layzal said, “This is how we deal with disrespect here. Have a safe trip.” With that, he vanished in a blur, leaving the group to process what had just happened.

Azriel, Lora, Dana, and Tim quickly boarded their cars, the weight of the recent events hanging heavily over them. As they settled in, Azriel issued a general mind-link to their convoy. “Let’s go home for now,” he commanded, his voice filled with a sense of urgency and relief.

The convoy started moving, the vehicles smoothly rolling away from Stephan’s coven. Dana, sitting beside Tim, took a deep breath, her mind racing with the events of the past hours as tears started to flow down her face as she started sobbing in disbelief and relief. She glanced at Tim, who hugged her tightly, whispering her comforting words.

Lora and Azriel exchanged a look, a silent understanding passing between them, as they smiled at each other in relief.
