Leo Hamilton couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing.
Nora Reed shot him a vicious glare, silently pleading for him to step in and save her.
But Leo simply sat back, crossing his legs with infuriating calm, clearly content to watch the show. Beside him, Zachary York adjusted his glasses and focused entirely on his coffee, pretending he was blind to the whole ordeal.
Nora sighed. What a bunch of jerks.
At that moment, the young male host sitting to her left noticed her empty wine glass and eagerly poured her a refill. His voice was smooth and syrupy. "Gorgeous, do you work out? You have stunning curves. You must hit the gym a lot, right?"
Nora didn't even bother looking up. "I don't work out. It's genetics."
"Wow..." the other young man on her right gasped dramatically. "That's amazing. I've been hitting the gym for five or six years just to look like this."
"Five or six years?" Nora arched a brow at him. "How old are you?"
"Just turned twenty."
So he started lifting weights when he was fourteen? These guys really lied through their teeth without a second thought.
Sensing her skepticism, the young man frowned slightly. "Don't let the lean look fool you. My body fat is just super low. I'm completely shredded under here."
As he spoke, he casually lifted the hem of his black silk shirt, revealing perfectly sculpted, deeply defined abs. The muscles rippled smoothly with his breathing, glowing with a healthy sheen under the dim, warm lights of the VIP booth.
Noticing Nora's gaze linger on his stomach for a fraction of a second, a confident smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. He lowered his voice into a sultry whisper. "Want to touch them? They feel incredible."
Nora's hand paused on her wine glass.
It suddenly dawned on her that she hadn't really paid much attention to Hudson Lancaster's abs. Hudson was built like a Greek god, but the raw, predatory muscle forged through years of actual combat training looked very different from this gym-sculpted aesthetic.
The problem was, every time she was in bed with Hudson, she ended up so utterly exhausted she couldn't even lift a finger, let alone leisurely trace the lines of his stomach.
"Gorgeous, I'm shredded too..."
While Nora was lost in thought, the first young man refused to be outdone. He yanked up his shirt, eagerly displaying his own core.
Nora opened her mouth to tell them both to put their clothes away, but before the words could leave her lips, the heavy door to the private booth was kicked open with a deafening crash.
The heavy wood slammed against the wall as a blast of cold air rushed into the room.
Nora instinctively snapped her head toward the noise and locked eyes with a pair of pitch-black irises swirling with pure, unadulterated fury.
The two young men, still holding their shirts up, jumped at the explosive sound. Their hands trembled, dropping the fabric halfway down their stomachs.
Hudson's gaze swept over their exposed skin. His expression was dangerously blank, yet the sheer murderous intent radiating from him sent a violent shiver down the boys' spines. They frantically tugged their shirts down and shrank back into the cushions.
