The papers fluttered down like snow, drawing gasps from the crowd.
"These are the scanned copies of Jared's final graduation project submission! They include the dates, his advisor's signature, and the university's official stamp! Liana, the project you submitted to the international competition is identical to his graduation design, from the concept all the way down to the color scheme. Are you going to call that a coincidence?"
Liana gulped hard. She bent down, picked up one of the papers, and read it. Panic clawed at her throat, but she refused to let it show on her face.
She knew that if she cracked now, she would lose everything.
If that happened, the Fairchilds wouldn't even try to protect her!
So, no matter what, she could not confess.
Even if Sienna pulled out a mountain of evidence, as long as Liana denied it to her dying breath, Sienna couldn't touch her!
Thinking this, Liana let out a soft laugh. "Sienna, you really put a lot of effort into framing me. You even forged evidence."
"I was willing to let this go because you gave me blood for three years, but you just keep pushing and bullying me. Even if I can tolerate it, the Fairchild family won't allow you to drag our name through the mud!"
She turned to the stunned host standing nearby. "Call the police. Tell them someone is maliciously framing me and spreading rumors!"
"Huh?" The host was entirely unprepared to be dragged into the crossfire. He stared blankly for a second before scrambling to pull out his phone.
Unsure of what to do, he looked toward Finnian for confirmation.
"What are you waiting for? Call the police!" Liana snapped impatiently.
"Right, okay..." The host frantically dialed the number.
But before he could press send, Sienna's phone buzzed.
"Hello... Okay, I understand. Thank you."
She hung up the phone, a slow smile spreading across her face as she looked at Liana. "Half a month ago, I submitted all this evidence to the International Architectural Review Board. They just released an official statement. Liana's design, 'A Walk in the Clouds', was plagiarized from Jared Quinn. Her award has been revoked, and they are issuing a public reprimand..."
"Congratulations, Liana. You're now world-famous in the architectural industry!"
Liana's face visibly drained of all color.
"You... you're lying!"
"Check their official website if you don't believe me... Oh wait, it's already trending."
The guests immediately pulled out their phones. Within seconds, someone gasped. "It really is trending! It's the top story on the international news tab!"
"Oh my god, it's true!"
"The International Architectural Review Board actually posted the announcement. The Fairchild ward really is a thief..."
"This is so embarrassing. She embarrassed herself on a global scale..."
