Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 435

Ten minutes later, Archer called to say the private flight was scheduled and the car was waiting downstairs.

After getting into the car, Nora was still feeling a bit dizzy and couldn't quite process it.

Watching the luxury vehicle drive unhindered straight onto the airport tarmac, she realized something was seriously different.

Through the window, she saw several small airplanes parked, painted in various colors and gleaming in the sunlight.

The car stopped in front of a white jet.

Its sleek fuselage had a simple logo on the tail, unrecognizable as any commercial airline.

"This... this is Archer's plane?"

"Yep," Olive nodded, the lollipop still in her mouth making her words slightly mumbled. "Madam, don't let this guy's quiet demeanor fool you. He's incredibly good at making money."

Nora looked at Archer, then at the plane, her mind spinning.

A bodyguard owning a private jet?

She was starting to wonder if Archer was some wealthy heir in disguise.

"Madam, let's board," Archer said with a smile, stepping aside.

The boarding stairs were already in place, and a flight attendant in a dark blue uniform stood at the cabin door with a polite smile.

"Welcome aboard."

Nora took a deep breath and walked up the stairs.

The cabin was much more spacious than she had imagined. The cream-colored leather seats were wide and comfortable, a dark gray carpet covered the floor, and a faint fragrance filled the air.

The small private jet Archer mentioned was way bigger than she had envisioned.

As soon as Olive boarded, she plopped onto a sofa, bounced twice, and sighed in satisfaction.

"Archer, this plane is comfortable. It's just as good as the Boss's, just a bit smaller."

Archer smiled. "As long as it serves its purpose."

Nora couldn't help but look around.

The sweet and sour liquid slid down her throat, settling the slight feeling of unreality in her chest.

She turned to look out the window. The ground crew was doing their final checks, their gestures professional and crisp.

"Madam, let's play a game!" Olive pulled out two game controllers from somewhere and handed one over.

Nora took the controller, looked at it, then at Olive. "I don't know how to play."

"It's okay, I'll teach you." Olive had already pressed a remote on the armrest, and a massive screen slowly descended from the front.

"It's very simple. Just shoot everything."

Nora was amused. Holding the controller, she watched the game load on the screen and clumsily pressed the buttons.

The plane began to taxi.

The scenery outside the window slowly moved backward, gaining speed, and then with a sudden lift, the ground fell away, and the clouds rushed toward them.

Nora leaned back in her seat, holding the controller, looking at the rolling sea of clouds outside, and suddenly felt a wave of emotion.
