Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 416

Sienna didn't argue. She just offered a quiet smile.

"What do you even see in him?" Nora was genuinely baffled.

Did she really like Finnian that much?

The guy was decent-looking, sure, but that was about it.

His temper and personality were completely garbage compared to her Hudson!

"Didn't I tell you? I like him because he's handsome."

"..."

Nora shot her a deadpan look.

"Alright, alright, let's go." Sienna stood up. "Are we still going to the exhibition or what?"

Nora glanced at her, noting that she still looked horribly pale. "Are you sure you're okay? We can always go another day."

"I'm fine. I just gave a little blood. I just need a minute to catch my breath."

The two walked out of the hotel together.

Olive went to fetch the car while Nora and Sienna waited by the entrance.

A cool autumn breeze swept past. Nora pulled her jacket tighter around herself and turned to look at Sienna.

"I've actually never asked you... how did you and Finnian meet?"

Sienna flashed a lovestruck grin. "I saw him at the hospital. The second I laid eyes on him, I felt like I was brought back to life. It just so happened his sister needed blood—Rh-negative—and I happened to be a match. So... hehehe."

"..."

Nora rubbed her temples.

She had considered a lot of possibilities, but she had never imagined that Sienna was the one who chased after Finnian first.

Just because of his face?

She remembered hearing back when they were younger that Sienna had dated the campus hotshot.

If he was known as the hotshot, his looks must have been stellar too...

Sigh.

Was this the tragic curse of being superficial?

"Norie... keep it down... I'm a little dizzy..."

Then, her eyes rolled shut.

"Sienna!"

Panic seized Nora's chest as she shouted toward the front seat. "Olive! To the hospital! Step on it!"

Olive glanced in the rearview mirror, instantly slamming her foot on the gas. The car surged forward.

...

At the hospital.

The emergency room lights blared red.

Nora paced the corridor relentlessly.

She had no idea how much time passed before the doors finally swung open.

The doctor stepped out, pulling down his surgical mask.

"The patient is suffering from severe anemia. Her hemoglobin levels are at a third of a normal person's. If you had brought her in any later, her life would have been in critical danger."
