Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 201

Nora’s face flushed as she forced the lingering, intimate memories from her mind and made her way downstairs.

Just as she rounded the landing, she spotted Arthur standing in front of Hudson, speaking in a low voice. But Arthur’s outfit... Nora paused, blinking in pure confusion.

He was wearing an incredibly flashy pink button-down, his hair perfectly styled with gel. With the top two buttons undone, he looked like a wealthy playboy straight out of a GQ spread.

Ever since she had known Arthur, the man had practically lived in dark suits year-round. Even his ties were strictly black, gray, or navy. He had never worn anything so... flamboyant.

She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things. It was definitely Arthur's face.

Hearing the rustle on the stairs, Hudson turned. Seeing Nora standing there with a stunned expression, he immediately got up and closed the distance, wrapping a possessive arm around her slender waist. "You're awake?"

Still utterly bewildered, Nora barely registered the seductive stroke of Hudson's large hand against her hip. "Feeling less sore?"

Snapping back to reality, she shot him a sharp glare.

She had no idea where he had gotten that soothing massage oil, but he insisted on rubbing it onto her every night before bed. And while the massage was fine, his hands always managed to wander, inevitably turning the innocent gesture into another exhausting session of passionate lovemaking.

To be fair, it worked. When she woke up the next morning, the aching fatigue had mostly vanished, and her legs no longer felt weak.

But that didn't give him the right to push her stamina to the absolute limit.

"Mr. Lancaster, the car is ready." A voice drifted in from the doorway.

Nora looked over, freezing in her tracks.

Two Arthurs?

What was going on?

If it weren't for their drastically different outfits, she would have assumed she was seeing double.

"Earth to Nora," Hudson chuckled, waving a hand in front of her face before pointing at the man in the pink shirt. "This is Archer, Arthur's twin brother. He just got back from an assignment."

"Nice to meet you, ma'am!" Archer offered a radiant, beaming smile that showed off a perfect set of white teeth.

Nora finally realized that while the two men looked identical, their auras were worlds apart.

Unable to take it anymore, Arthur smacked the back of Archer's head, grabbed him by the collar, and dragged him away like a misbehaving puppy.

Watching them leave, Nora sighed wistfully. "Having a twin must be nice."

"You like twins?" Hudson tilted his head to look at her.

"I just think it's fascinating."

The idea that someone else in the world, aside from your parents, shared your exact blood and wore the exact same face.

Hudson pulled her flush against his hips, brushing his nose affectionately against hers as his voice dropped to a husky murmur. "Want to make a pair of our own?"

Nora's face burned crimson. "Who said anything about having kids with you?"

Hudson let out a low, seductive chuckle. He was about to tease her further when fresh footsteps echoed from the doorway.

Liam Harrison strode in wearing a sharp gray button-down and carrying a briefcase, radiating the cool, refined air of an intellectual.
