Sienna stepped out of the car without saying goodbye, not even bothering to look back.
Silas's car sped off decisively.
Even the exhaust fumes seemed to reek of anger.
Sienna stood there stubbornly, her back ramrod straight.
As the cold night wind blew past, she pulled her coat tighter around herself.
"Sienna!"
She turned her head.
Noah Sterling stepped out of a car—a brand-new, gleaming white luxury sedan.
"Where did you get that car?"
Noah walked over with a massive grin.
"Sienna, you're home early today! Have you eaten? Wanna grab a bite together?"
"I asked you a question." Sienna glared at him. "Where did you get the car?"
"Oh, this?" Noah dangled the keys. "Isn't it yours? Silas said he bought it for you and told me I could drive it in the meantime."
She glanced at the badge on the hood. Four interlocking rings.
A brand-new Audi, worth nearly a hundred thousand dollars.
Sienna's head buzzed, a blind rage shooting straight to her brain.
"Give me the keys."
"Alright, alright, here you go." Noah handed them over. "I was just borrowing it, don't be so stingy. My brother-in-law is loaded, and he's more than happy to spend it on us. Sienna, our family has officially moved up in the world."
"Shut up." Sienna clenched the keys so hard they dug painfully into her palm.
Noah blinked in surprise.
"Why are you mad now?"
Sienna glared at him, her eyes practically shooting daggers.
