I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 312

Silas didn't deny it.

He glanced at Sienna, his tone casual but his words perfectly clear.

"Sienna is wonderful. She's worth it."

Standing beside him, Sienna offered a polite, flawless smile.

"Thank you. Mr. Hayes has been taking great care of me."

Courteous, polite, and entirely impenetrable.

She knew Silas was giving her face in front of his friends, and she knew she had to play along gracefully.

Silas withdrew his gaze and resumed his conversation with his friends.

Sienna remained by his side, the smile still plastered on her lips.

Her expression betrayed no flaws, but the smile never quite reached her eyes.

Out on the terrace, Finn stood behind the glass door.

The glass was one-way; he could see out, but no one could see in.

He watched Sienna and Silas standing side by side. He watched her press a hand to her stomach, and he watched the man beside her look down at her.

That gaze—tender, concerned, and utterly brazen.

It was as if he was declaring to the world that she belonged to him.

Finn watched as Silas's hand fell onto her shoulder, gently pulling her closer.

She didn't pull away.

Finn's hands gripped the railing so hard his knuckles turned stark white.

Like a masochist, the more it hurt, the more he forced himself to watch.

On the ride back, Silas was constantly on the phone, handling work matters.

Sienna waited for him to hang up, nursing her thoughts the entire way.

The words had been suffocating her all day.

Finally, Silas finished his calls and placed his phone on the center console.

He turned his head and glanced at Sienna.

"Tired?"

"I'm okay." Sienna leaned back in her seat, gazing out the window.
