I Forgot I Ever Loved You (Zoe and Hayden) novel Chapter 371

Zoe looked thoughtful.

Zachary Harrison?

Seeing her blank expression, Garrett found it a bit unbelievable.

Given how incredible Zoe was, she should have heard of this person.

"I don't know him," she said, shaking her head.

"He's Chinese-American. He won The Global Algorithm Excellence Award when he was just a teenager. After settling in the States, he took his company to a multi-billion dollar valuation in just three years.

Word is, he went to the same university as Sienna, one year ahead of her. There were even rumors that he pursued her back then. I don't know if it's true, but there are a lot of rumors about him since he became famous."

Zoe clearly wasn't very interested in this kind of gossip, but she was certain of one thing.

"Zachary Harrison couldn't possibly be Sienna's suitor."

A faint, mocking smile hung on Zoe's lips. "A man like Hayden would never allow the woman he loves to interact with other men."

Back when she had lost her memory and treated him as her husband, Zoe had witnessed his controlling nature firsthand.

Garrett looked at Zoe with confusion. "What makes you say that?"

He genuinely couldn't understand this.

Hayden didn't seem like the type to keep a woman in a gilded cage.

Aside from Zoe's previous marriage to him, during which he trapped her at Easton Group, Garrett had barely ever heard Zoe's name mentioned.

But Hayden offered Sienna absolute support.

He took her to various banquets, and Garrett had even seen Sienna being pursued by many men, publicly given flowers, and offered engagement rings. Hayden hadn't shown any excessive possessiveness.

He would just whisper a few words to Sienna, and only step forward to dismiss the blind fools if she looked displeased and rejected them.

He really couldn't see it.

"Just an instinct, I guess. That kind of personβ€”"

Zoe thought of the absurd things that had happened between them before, and her expression naturally darkened.

Garrett noticed her displeasure and didn't push the subject further.

"Get some rest early."

It was getting late, and he decided not to bother her anymore.

Zoe nodded. Lying in bed, she unconsciously touched her stomach. Thankfully, she had been too thin before; now that she was almost three months along, it still wasn't showing.

She had no time to dwell on Hayden and Sienna's deep affection, so she made a call to Cherry.

"Halt all investments and consolidate all the funds into my card."

Cherry paused slightly.

"Ms. Lynd, all of the funds?"

It was over millions of dollars now. She felt she had made a lot of money through asset allocation and investment portfolios recently. Did Zoe not want to use her anymore?

Cherry felt a spike of anxiety.

Her boss had finally returned to normal, and now she was getting fired?

This was a job with a massive monthly salary.

Fortunately, Zoe was exceptionally talented and smart. Very few major issues could actually stump her.

A little brainpower, and most problems were easily solved.

Just as Zoe was getting ready to leave for work, Garrett returned.

She looked at him, confused.

"Today is The New York Tech Expo. Did you forget?"

Zoe suddenly remembered. She didn't have to go to the office today.

Pregnancy really did give her baby brain.

Sylvia seemed to understand and laughed. "Alright, you two hurry up and go. Drive safely, and don't make it a bumpy ride for Zoe."

Garrett nodded, indicating he understood.

The Global AI Summit had drawn in industry heavyweights early on.

Besides Garrett and Zoe, Professor Layne had also arrived.

He had brought a few of his students. Seeing Zoe, Professor Layne immediately came over and told his students to greet her.

Professor Layne's students were all stunned by Zoe's radiant complexion and stunning curves, unable to tear their eyes away.

"What are you looking at, you brats? I told you to greet Zoe, and you're all staring like a bunch of creeps. Hurry up and say hello. She's already taken, so don't even think about it."

Only after Professor Layne's scolding did the young students realize their mistake.

They saw the imposing, handsome, and composed Garrett beside her and assumed he was her significant other.
