Hayden took the stairs two at a time.

His arm hooked around Zoe's waist. An enraged Zoe was like a wild force of nature; if she were fighting ordinary people, a whole group probably couldn't hold her down.

Hayden simply scooped her up and hauled her away from Sylvia.

Sylvia's hair was a tangled mess, looking incredibly pathetic, her cheeks already red and swollen. She had completely lost the elegant aura of a high-society lady.

"You, you absolute psycho!"

"Find some time and finalize the paperwork with her, the sooner the better. Divorce her immediately."

If she had to deal with Zoe one more time, it was going to cost her her life.

Hayden leaned against the window, his expression utterly blank.

He waited until Sylvia had vented her anger before speaking casually.

"If I divorce her, what happens to Holden's life?"

Sylvia froze, and then her face turned incredibly grim.

"We can just take custody of Lily. Keep the daughter, kick out the mother. With the power of the Thorne family, what could Zoe possibly do about it?
