Nyssa was highly analytical; she never did anything on impulse.
Slapping Ottilie had been a momentary lapse, but it had successfully shocked her back to her senses.
Now that she had reasoned it out, her mind was perfectly clear.
“You can leave now. I’m ready to sleep.”
She lay down on the bed, just about to drift off.
Her phone buzzed.
It was a text from Jevon.
*[Yorath and Ottilie slept together.]*
Nyssa glanced at the screen, then calmly set the phone aside.
The Meridian Villa.
Ottilie woke up the next morning to find a package waiting for her.
It was a massive box.
She sliced it open to find it entirely packed to the brim with condoms.
Yorath walked downstairs and immediately spotted it.
“Who sent that?”
“No idea,” Ottilie replied flatly.
Just then, Yorath’s phone rang. It was Nyssa.
He didn't step away; he answered it standing right next to Ottilie.
Nyssa’s voice was slightly muffled, but Ottilie could hear the gist of it clearly enough.
“Yorath, since Ms. Sewell has moved back in, I realized I never formally congratulated you both. I sent over a box of gifts. I hope you like them.”
Hearing that, Ottilie turned and walked away.
She heard Yorath reply coldly, “You don’t need to handle things like this.”
She couldn't hear Nyssa’s response.
“You’re an actress signed to my company, Nyssa, not a maid.”
“Yes, I know.”
