Stella froze. Right. Friday was Logan's birthday.

For the past two years, she had celebrated his birthday sitting beside his hospital bed.

Back then, her only desperate wish was for him to open his eyes.

Well, he was awake now. He just didn't need her anymore.

"I see. That's nice for them," Stella whispered, her voice hollow.

Knowing exactly how shattered Stella was, Summer gently offered, "Stella... have you ever thought about just letting Logan go? Seeing you torture yourself like this... it breaks my heart."
