Cassidy was on Stella's team. They got along well, and Cassidy was always the first to share the latest office gossip.

Glancing at the cupcakes piled high with fresh frosting, Stella managed a polite smile. "I already ate breakfast. You go ahead and eat these, they look great."

Cassidy didn't need to be told twice. She happily took a bite, groaning about how amazing fresh-baked pastries tasted.

As she chewed, she leaned in, her eyes shining with gossip. "Hey, did you hear? When Mr. Fuller showed up today, everyone saw a perfectly clear set of bite marks right on his jawline! The whole floor is taking bets on who gave it to him!"

Stella's fingers twitched slightly, but she kept her voice entirely neutral. "What's there to guess?"

"You think it was Director Huxley, right? Wrong! Dead wrong!"

Stella had no idea how Cassidy's radar had pivoted from Jarrod and Chloe straight to her.

But she had absolutely slathered concealer over the mark on her neck.

How on earth did Cassidy spot it?
