Before Stella could say another word, Sylvia hurried upstairs, drawn by the commotion.
Seeing the standoff, Sylvia immediately played the peacemaker. "Stella, please calm down. I'll have the maids move her things up to the third-floor storage right away."
Seraphina scoffed loudly and slammed her bedroom door shut.
Just then, the sound of tires crunching on the driveway signaled George's return. Ignoring Sylvia, Stella sprinted downstairs.
George walked in, guiding Grandma Margaret.
