Skyla looked at the account on the screen. It was Chris’s account, and half an hour earlier, he had posted a clarification statement.

“Winter Scott and I no longer have any relationship.”

Skyla suddenly laughed.

Excited, she reached out and hugged the tablet to her chest, reading the statement over and over again.

“Obviously not. I have a friend who works at the TV station, and they heard that Winter was the one who wanted to divorce Chris. She’s the one who didn’t want him.”

Skyla couldn’t understand how people online thought these days. She had assumed the comment section would be full of people mocking and ridiculing Winter.

But then again, she had no way to arrange paid comments or control the narrative right now. Winter’s public image had always been positive, and people’s impression of her was generally good.
